WOW looks like Petsch towing and jeff county cops have a good thing going...seeing that a county cop pulls over a VETERAN and because he doesnt have proof of insurance arrest him then lets Petsch towing impound his vehicle. Then to top it all off after two hours they let him go, wont give him his money back that they took, wont let him make a phone call, and just put him on the streets with no coat or anything when its 20 degrees outside. WOW what a way to treat our veterans......Officer Clark I hope you feel like a big man treating people that way!!!

First of all "Steve's Towing" is no longer owned by the Petsch family. Someone bought the towing part and the name.
Secondly your pathetic attempts to tarnish Petsch reputation won't happen. I have been taking my car there for 17 years and have had many tows as well. And not once have I ever been ripped off or treated poorly. I wouldn't take my cars any where else.
Last of all I have a hard time believing a cop would say he cares less about veterans. Don't get me wrong I know cops can be jerks but come on that's unbelievable.

Well guess you dont know as much as you think you do. Bcause it DID happen. And whats hard to believe is that Petsch has any faithful customers seeing as that they easily have forgotten who the people was that did business with them before they became big. And im not trying to tarnish anything...the facts are the facts!!!!!

I was just wondering what Petsch towing was at again? What they towed a vehicle the sheriffs department called them to tow? How dare they tow a vehicle when called to do so. With the information you posted sounds like the sheriffs department did it all. Do you own a towing company that use to tow for the county? Maybe you should have done a better job if that's the case and you would still be doing their business. You didn't state anything that Petsch towing did besides tow a vehicle when called to do so. You must be telling everyone what a great job Petsch towing is at again. I'm sure they will enjoy your support.

dealing with them for years, and for you to be arrested for no insurance is a joke.More like you had a warrant. You cant get arrested for not having no insurance. Its a ticket,so you had a warrant,or driving revoked or suspended. As the one person said you are full of it.Must be related to or Prezzzz.

No wonder Petsch is out of the towing business and almost out of business altogether he's run out of things to burn down. Seems strange all of his shot catches fire.

If you're going to downgrade Kevin and his business, why don't you at least have the balls to say it to his face. Or at least put your actual name. I'd be scared of him if I were you too.

At least he isn't like most people from desoto having everything handed to them. Like their jobs just because they know someone. He actually has to work for what he has. If you want to pick on someone find the ones who's mommy and daddy got them what they have. Or how about the employes at the schools in desoto they are given the jobs because family works their and they where all raised in desoto. I would even bet most of them have married their cousins.

For the record. This veteran you speak I was driving drunk. So he went to jail for drinking and driving. I have the upmost respect for our veterans but just because you are a veteran doesn't give you the right to drink and drive. Be responsible. And if you are going to be out in 20 degree weather then wear a damn coat.

Kevin Petsch was also one of the ones endorsing your taxes to go up fore the fire district! Vote with your wallet now when it comes time for auto repair or towing!

Well let's clear the air about Steve's Towing and veterans the tow you are talking out your ass about involved the following as I was the tow operator that towed Damond Harneds Truck that night He is Post Commander of the Festus VFW post 3777 and was not arrested by deputy Clark and The new Owner or Steve's Towing is an 8 yr Veteran of the Air Force and I myself am a disabled 11 yr veteran of the army. We cater to veterans by offering lower rates and at times repair the vehicle roadside. The night Damond was arrested he had Fresh food in the vehicle and I asked if he wanted me to deliver it to his residence now you tell me how we are rude to veterans because I don't know of any tow company that does that

Dear slot shooter and others.I don't condone the rates being charged by the tow companies now days or their ideas of how it is to be done. I have three daughters who I want to spend all the time I can. In order to keep rates down as I did when I owned and operated the tow trucks I had to be in them and involved all the time 24/7. I made a decision to sell the wreckers to be with my children. I did this two years ago. I'm sorry for your feelings towards me but you will not drag me under the same rock you choose to live under. By the way I borrowed $100k to purchase the business from my father because I never wanted a hand me down!yes I supported fire dept and I'm sad people don't see big picture. I'm sure that someday they will but if they aren't working forty hours a week they won't figure it out that it comes full circle. Ask Chrysler workers and people who lost jobs to Mexico and overseas companies that were once here and now shipping stuff here that you still buy at higher prices creating higher profits for them. Now who's the dumbass?by the way 205 lbs takes me out of little man class. Come see me maybe we can hash out our differences and figure out how to work for change in our community to make it better for everyone not just ourselves ! Sincerely Kevin
