We need a debate in Southern Illinois

Southern Illinois has not hosted a governor's debate during the general election campaign in 20 years.

Southern Illinois would be an appropriate site for a debate between Edwin Eisendrath and RodBlagojevich. The Eisendrath family has many friends and supporters cheering for them. We know the Eisendraths and they know us.

I think that the state of Illinois should secede from the state of Chicago. That way the people in southern Illinois will finally have a voice, and not submit to the will of Chicago. The population of Chicago is almost more than the rest of the state. Which brings me to say that being the majority sometimes just means that all of the idiots are all on the same side.

I think the problem lies in the fact that most people in Chicago consider Springfield to be Southern IL.

Why would Chicago want to be a seperate State?
They would have ti live on the money genereted by that Government. This way they have their money and ours too.
And they controll the State.

There should be a line drawn at Springfield and Southern Illinois should secede from the State of Illinois. A centrally located capitol, probably Mt. Vernon, would be ideal. Southern Illinois has oil, coal, crops. One drawback: My Representative tells me that we receive back more money from the State than we pay in. Another knowing gentlemen told me that Southern Illinois does not have enough people to elect one Chicago alderman. So, where from here??????????
