In New York City, when the high cost of living is mentioned, people say "that is the cost of living in a big city" and in a small town like De Leon, they say "that is the cost of living in a small town". I personally think it's more a matter of the local businesses taking advantage of people due to them having this mentality. They've trained them well. The fact that both self serve stations are lock step with their prices speaks volumes.

Just as I knew it would, the price of gas in De Leon continues to go up even though crude oil has been falling and is below $100 a barrel and has been for awhile now. The local gas crooks have to take advantage of people and squeeze them as much as they can before us hayseeds figure out we're getting reamed.

Price of gas in De Leon right now is 10 cents a gallon higher than Comanche.

Price of gas at all stations in Comanche is 15 cents cheaper than De Leon as of today.

Seems like you and those like you want to get on here and gripe about every business and every decision made in Deleon, but I have never seen Charlie Richardson's name on a single business or running for any public office in town. Price of gas in De Leon rising again starting yesterday while other areas are going down. 11 cent increase in one day! These are just facts and Mr. taxpayer of De Leon has a real problem with public facts being made public LOL!
