Psycho drivers in DeLeon, TX

Not sure who was driving but a Blue Dodge Durango almost backed in to me at Alsups when I was driving into the pumps. Backing out of a parking space like the store was on fire, then give me a dirty look when she had to slam on her brakes.

I didn't even know Ben was still a police officer. I never see him.
Funny thing...I was on the way to Stephenville last night and saw a De Leon police car parked on the side of the road about 7 or 8 miles outside of De Leon. Wonder what they were doing???

I think I've seen them way out there beyond the city limits myself and wondered what was up. I've also had the Dublin cops follow me as far as the roadside park on my tail, I guess hoping to get me speeding but no luck on their part. One time a Dublin cop followed me with his lights off late at night. Maybe they're looking for druggies.

I could fill another blog with tales of Dublin police officers.
I guess small towns just get the reject officers.
I, too have been followed way outside of the city limits by DeLeon police. I can count on being followed for a week or two if I get a new vehicle.

My husband and my son have both been followed by Deleon cops on the way out of Deleon going toward Dublin. They must get bored and run a check on every car they see after dark.

i got a got one for you. today while i was walking out of dollar general, some lady (and i use that term loosely) had stopped in the middle of the street, got out of her car to go and talk to someone who was parked across the street. i couldn't leave because she had me blocked in. she even saw me get into my car and knew i was waiting to leave. and she kept talking until the person that she was talking to told her i was waiting. what a DUMB ASS!!!!!!!

And what about the ones that park about 3-4 feet from the curb and leave their cars stuck in the middle of the street? I see it every day. Even the cops do it. What really worry's me is that many of these dumbasses are actually breeding.

Back to the subject of this thread, yesterday, Lisa Nowlin was speeding through town going 45 mph and yakking on her cell phone, headed toward Comanche. Is she a volunteer firefighter or something? I saw another driver have to move over and get out of her way. Is talking on cell phones while driving still legal? People seem to be in a daze when they're talking on the phone and driving. I guess the cops refuse to enforce the speed limit in town. They could sure make the city some money if they enforced the law, but they would be unpopular with De Leon's elite.

Today, the Seguras were tossing trash out the window of their old 86 Olds right in the middle of downtown DeLeon in front of Weaver's. Another lost chance for the cops to earn the city some much needed revenue. I guess they're making enough money with the grass violators.

Maybe you're new at topix. Just look around the forums all across the country and see the crazy stuff being said about their locals. The DeLeon one is extremely lame and most of what I've seen here is people just asking questions and what I've seen where names were named, it was believable and I've seen it myself. In a town of 2400 people, you know every person and every vehicle and see everything. Why would such lame posts be so unbelievable in a tiny drug-infested, crime-ridden town ran by a high school dropout mayor? Or are you one of those deniers? Good for you.

Why are there so many people driving around illegally? I see people all over the place with no license plates on their vehicles and inspection and registration stickers that expired years ago. I guess the cops don't notice such things. Ain't that right Koda Reed and Brad Ballenger?

I was going down main st earlier and a very loud red dodge 4x4 pickup passed me like I was sittin still. They had to be doing 45. They went right past Allsups and a cop was there. Plate #AU0-0500. Must be a lot of fires around DeLeon.

Darrell Kimmell was flying around the S curve yesterday like a man possessed, doing about 45. All I saw in my mirror was a big black brushguard and had to pull over. It could have been a bad situation if someone had been crossing the street. No cop to be seen anywhere.
