I agree- I grew up in DeKalb and I've since moved to Chicago. I have alot of family there and I miss it completely, but I have children and I realize that without outlets to keep our children occupied drug-use is almost inevitable. Kemper as well of surrounding communities are infested with drugs.

I'm concerned about the education system in Kemper Co. Schools. The teachers are leaving this area because the children are just not interested in getting an education. And I blame the parents for sending their children to school to be raised by the teachers when they should be teaching their kids some respect for those who are trying to help them. Discipline comes from home first. So if parents know that they can not get the kids to listen to them at home how can they assume the kids are going to mind someone else. Just get control of your children please.
