That isn't true. Everybody reacts differently to alcohol. The .08 limit was set when they people were being responsible and were generally under .10. I don't really think it matterss much because most people arrested seem to be .18 or higher

Pa. lowered the legal limit from .10 to .08 in order to continue getting Federal Highway monies and grants. The .08 is the federal standard for states to receive that money.

I do not blame anyone else but myself for having a DUI. I am saying that for some people driving at .11 will have no effect on their ability to drive. Argue all you want but there is such thing as tolerance. And in the town I live in there is a bar on every corner and people regularly get arrested walking home or driving home after having a few drinks. I think there should be a legal limit and it should be higher .08. It is all about the money. And the instructer did point out our DUI's paid for their salary.

It has nothing to do with saving lives or there would also be a helmet law

Since you believe that seatbelts and DUI arrests at the current BAL don't save lives, you might as well smoke two pack of unfiltered Camels a day, heck, they can't be harmful either. In fact, ignore the warning labels on rat poison and kerosene containers too, after all, what's the harm?

WOW, simply amazing.

Sorry but I did not say seatbelts don't save lives. I said the reason for the law has nothing to do with government's concern for your safety
