VIP Travel doesn't have any sort of membership, or annual fee. Maybe this is your original sponsor, you may want to check with them.

Thanks Kim. Never did send the darn thing back in with the requested dates, never was sure WHAT to do and to be honest we are still very skepticle about the whole thing. As a matter of fact however we are running out of time now and it would be a big hassle to try and rearrange it all before the expiration date. My husband wants to just go ahead and cancel.
Can I call on you if there is an issue with the refund? I realize your probably doing this on your own time and I think VIP should know how loyal an employee you are. You are a person of integrity and that is rare today. Sincerely

after attending V.I.P. promotional time share seminar we received our documents for future travel. Our second choice of travel date was approved after we sent them $ 175.00 for FLY USA and one week car rental.Unfortunately my mother inlaw, who is lives at assisted living facility, was
recovering from broken bones sustained from a fall.
We decided to cancel our trip, and wrote V.I.P.ex-
plaining our situation, asking for deposit to be refunded. At that time WE HAD RECEIVED NO ITINERARY.

I received a vacation package from VIP Travel at a time share seminal. I sent in all the papers and went on a GREAT VACATION at no cost ( except taxes ).... I had NO PROBLEMS at all. VIP TRAVEL was great for our free vacation.

This is for Kim (port orange, Fla)@ VIP. I am getting ready to send my certificate in but have to pick my option (airfare, hotel or cruise). We're probably going with the hotel offer but before I send it I was hoping to find out the destinations available. Is there a website or number I can call? I can't seem to find either on the certificate.

OK well, we finally received a letter from VIP asking us if we'd like to have another offer, a hotel savings club membership "in lieu" of our refund. I checked no, signed it, and set it back CERTIFIED MAIL, just to be certain they get it. We'll see what happens.

I too received the vacation package back in 11/09. We sat through the two hour presentation for Direct Buy and didn't take up their membership. We sent everything in via certified mail, paid the 75.00 and submitted our first set of dates, which were denied. We sent in our second set of dates 6 weeks ago and still haven't received a response. I called VIP and spoke with a "customer service" respresentative" who was less than helpful. We were just trying to find out the status of our request and was not able to attain any information. This is nuts. I want my money back, it's not worth it.

[We, too were hoping for "free" roundtrip airfare and a three hundred dollar gift card. The initial mailing didn't have the name of the company (sneaky!) so we couldn't look it up. the only ay yu get the $300 gift car is to send 12.95 to register, then spend $100 per month of your own money at Walmart, send in receipts, then get a $20 gift card back each month. You have to do that for 15 months to get your 300 total. Lesson learned.

VIP Travel Reservations, INC and FLY USA is a scam. I've wasted many hours and trying to use my voucher but to no avail. There's so many restrictions that the voucher is worthless. I had an agent walk me through the process so I wouldn't make a mistake and they purposely misled me. Yes, this is the way this company operates on the free vouchers. You won't be able to cash in so save your $75 dollars and walk away with some sanity. I spoke with Alexa (very umpleasant agent) and the supervisor (Kim). They don't care. Their goal is to make it impossible for you to use the voucher. Don't bother calling them because they will lead you astray. I repeat. They will purposely lead you astray.

i'm still fighting with VIP, so far we've submitted 2 reservation requests and both were denied. This is our third time to "redeem" our free 2 night stay and gas card. If anyone is considering this plan, DONT! It's horrible. If you call between their "business" hours 10-4, M through F, you may be disappointed. I've tried calling, speaking to various reps who were less than friends, I've asked for supervisors and they told me that there were no supervisors to speak with! We're so frustrated. If anyone has another phone number or name of someone at VIP that we can speak too, please share.
Thanks

Sorry, Kim, I'm sorry I get on here when I can, and thank you for your kind remarks. Did everything go smoothly?

We do have certificates for round trip airfare, but nothering for $300 anything to any where, rebate or not. Furthermore, VIP Travel does not solicit anyone for anything and therefore, no, our name would not be on their mail piece for what ever it was they were trying to have you attend.

I don't remember speaking with you, however, the only Manuel I show in SC, the first dates could not be checked due to their not choosing a major airport to fly from, were notified of that and never sent anything back in. Over a month later I show they did request a refund of their deposit which does take a full 8 weeks to be processed. If that is you I hope that helps, if not give me a call, I would be happy to try and help, but noone here would or even could mislead you as the terms and conditions we strictly adhere to are presented to all customers in writing twice.

Maybe VIP doesn't,but the company you contract with to lure people in does. It was a $300 gift card that was too convoluted to use.

No Sir, we do not contract anyone to lure anyone. People can and do receive our certificates from travel presentations, time share presentations, Mary Kay sales, Test driving cars, charity raffles, prize winnings, etc. Furthermore, any of the companies handing them out purchase them from third party marketing companies. And again, we have no $300 anything. I do apologize for any inconvenience but it was not on account of VIP.

We went to a 2 hour sales pitch to buy a vacation package. We also received a voucher for a "free" cruise. I followed all direction and sent away to set up a cruise. I got a letter back saying that we could not use it then; so I sent them another itinerary. About 30 days (it was supposed to be 45)before the cruise got another letter from them saying that the cruise was booked and we could set up another time. However, we were told that the cruise had to be used within a year and if we made new arrangements it would be after the year was up. So, it is impossible for us to use our "free" cruise - which, by the way, would have cost $500.00 a person to pay for port charges. I checked on the cruises we wanted to take and the port charges and taxes and everything only cost about $75.00 From start to finish, this is a real rip-off.
Kim, do you have any response to this?

My husband and I were also part of the scam that this so called company pulled on us, I can't believe we fell for there line of BS. that was early in 2009 and of this date 2011 January, we still have not received our deposits back, and have heard nothing from VIP Travels. Like David from Hagerstown, MD, " There's a sucker born every minute, and it is sad that we have people who do nothing but take advantage. My next step is to call 3 for action here in Sacrmento, and then to send a notification to Port Orange Police.
