I got the Birthday invatation, attended the seminar, received the two airline airfare voucher and the car rental for a week. I sent them both in with the deposit and I FOLLOWED ALL (I MEAN CROSS YOUR T'S AND DOT YOUR I'S) OF THE RULES and I got my weekly car with ENTERPRISE and my two airline tickets on NorthWest to Las Vegas! THEY WERE VERY NICE TO ME AND WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THANKS VIP TRAVEL!

I worked with VIP on 2 different occasions and both times had a wonderful experience! The fist time was a 2 night 3 day stay which once I got the rules was very easy to book. And the second time was air fare and on that one my first request wasn't available but my second went flawlessly! I just got back from NYC 9 days ago and I'm planning on seeing if I can use them as a regular travel agency with out a certificate!

How many negative stars can we place. my wife and i have tried for over a year since we gave them our deposit money. about once every 2 months we placed our reservation request and they would send us a letter saying that date was not avaiable. sometimes we even put in dates every month. and always got the not available letter. today we got a letter from our last request saying that they are sorry but if this was processed it takes 60 days and that will make our certificate expired so we must now apply to try and get our deposit back.....WE MUST APPLY TO GET THE DEPOSIT BACK???? why dont they just send it. so now they have made interest off our money,,we have to apply to get it back (just the money and noi interest due us..........DO NOT DUE BUSINESS WITH VIP TRAVEL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES....YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME. I STILL DO NOT KNOW HOW THIS COMPANY STAYS IN BUSINESS. COMON PEOPLE LETS GET MOTIVATED AND PUT THEM UNDER!!!

I traveled with VIP, the presentation was a crock of shit to be frank. But once I followed all the rules, which some were rediculous, I might add, it worked well. It's now been a little more than 10 weeks since traveling and I just received the balance from my car rental not used for taxes ($53 of the original $75). So yall do as you wish, but I'm happy and would use VIP again if I had the chance. It was a good way to get something reasonable in this economy. I guess my only advice to all of you with not such great luck is follow the rules, all of them... and don't worry with how it was originally represented where ever you received it... FOLLOW THE RULES!!!

Everyone on here who is complaining seems to have not followed the rules. I traveled through them in the begining of the year, yes their were a lot of "hoops" to jump through, but once I did I ended up being able to fly to California to visit my mother. The lady I worked with was very helpful and worked in a timely manor. I feel bad that everyone says rude things when they don't get what they want. I had such a great experience. And no KATE am not a con artist who works for the company, I am a satisfied customer :)

I am the supervisor in the airline department at VIP travel, I just looked up all the files for anyone in the city you have listed this comment came from "King of Prussia" there's only one file and it's not for an airline ticket cert, I don't show us ever receiving anything from you. There are several companies that do the same thing we do that are not affiliated with us, but we would be happy to look in to it for you, just let me knwo.

I sent a $100 downpayment and almost 6 weeks later they claim to have no obligation of providing tickets for package we contracted for, won't return my numerous phone calls to customer service and won't discuss return of my downpayment.

Unfortunatly we are human, I forwarded your file (found by the city you listed) to accounting and your check will be in the mail tomorrow. Again we do sincerely appologize if your request slipped through the cracks.

I've registered and everything, don't know why it wont change the city. oh well.

However, we have not coined the market on the name VIP Travel, but we are not the same as these travel clubs and time share presentations that are being referenced in these other cities and states, they are simply purchasing our certificates and handing them out. We are not affiliated with any other companies or operations, nor do we have any subsidiaries or sister companies.

I do sincerly appologize for any inconvenience ed, but the requests you made wher for summer vaca, thanksgiving holiday, christmas holiday, and finally the last request you made which was the ONLY one so far per the terms and conditions was simply not available. This is exactly why we make this very clear in the terms and conditions about peak travel time periods (the one you requested SPECIFICALLY stated). We have received your request to cancel since you posted this and your refund has been processed which you should be receiving any day now. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you, but yes all the terms and conditions must be followed.

We're receiving letters demanding bill payment from Resort Reservation Services. Is RRS handling the annual fee for VIP Travel?
We were told that we could drop our membership by simply not paying the annual fee.

Well... I want to start by saying I'm not complaining at all, I had a wonderful experience with VIP travel in Port Orange, FL, and when I asked the agent I was working with if I could write to her supervisor, she requested I simply post on one of these... so here I am, and yes, I am very happy with EVERYTHING VIP has done for me and hope to have the opportunity of working with them again.

Now on 2nd thought, as I look through some of these I see several that VIP has responded to (esp this one)and I'm currious if it was so important to post what YOU felt they did wrong, can you not let the skeptics know what they did right??? Otherwise, I feel what some, well most of you are doing is slander...

This imparticular is why I chose this board and anyway... THANKS AGAIN VIP!

In reference to VIP Travel Reservations, be aware that the 1-800 ... number is for two offices which are located in California. Perhaps those two offices are the official and legitimate offices - NOT Florida!

This is for Kim (port orange, Fla)@ VIP. We purchased an expensive vacation membership package with another travel corp and for listening to their speil were to receive the FREE round trip airfare/2 nights lodging 'Extravaganza' from VIP. We sent in $150. already and now they want all our credit card info and an "authorized amount". Whats this? Even if we need to purchase extra nights, how would I know how much it will be? I'd like to be compliant with 'the rules', I just dont understand and to be honest after reading all of this Im about ready to cancell except Im not even sure we'd get our money back. Please help, Id like to trust VIP.

Sorry Kim, I've been in and out and haven't kept up with this. The credit authorization is for it you need additional nights, passengers, etc... as for the amount authorized, you could put something to the extent of "upon request" or "upon approval" as you will be quoted any total cost to you before you are charged for anything. If your uncomfortable mailing your cc info, as I may be, you can just fill in the whole thing that way. Hope this helps ;)
