Daytona Beach should have ideas that promote the beach, to it's full advantage. New hotels that are well build like La Quinta Holiday Inn Express, or Hyatt Regency, would be better. Because a high rise building will certainly overcharge for a view, of something that tourists came to enjoy. There was a rumor that the Hard Rock charged $15 for one drink, and $30 if it was bought in a souvenir cup. If gambling becomes an idea, the free money concept of winning would mean staying inside the Hard Rock, because it means spending the money there, and staying close to the idea of getting it back. When people leave after they lose money, they might not blame the hard rock, because will is the idea. They might blame Daytona and think, the idea of going back is not good. Getting people to come back to tourism will keep locals in business
