Another reason for Daytona Beach city officials to control the tax base. Both sides of public opinion have everything to do with Trayvon Martin. He was an innocent victim.. he was a thug. It's only common sense that a police department would have records of Martin either having a criminal past or not. The story wants to stay in the press, this time and again because it's a frivolous lawsuit, based on information that wasn't given, leading to a settlement for loss of future earnings. Frivolous lawsuits raise taxes. Or in this case will misguide tax revenue to make sure the city has an advantage. The article doesn't even focus on race,[which shouldn't be an issue] because there isn't supposed to be a point, nor should there be a benefit or profit because of race. This more about a bad fashion statement!
