The city commission has hired Jon Kaney an expert in matters of Florida sunshine law to conduct and investigation into the criminal activity of the city commission without an answer of what it will cost the tax payers. Joyce Cusack a major suspect of receiving illegal campaign contributions is against this internal investigation. The contribution money is in much higher figures. The money has been laundered thru organization. Browns agreement to speak with the news journal about reducing those contributions are motivated by the idea that he was only given 5 years probation according to the news journal in retaliation not being allowed to have information from the state attorney's office [Larizza] Kaney is a former employee of Cobb Cole a Daytona Beach law firm that defends the city in cases including Damage caused by a beach vehicle-[Erin Joynt] Sexual harassment by a city employee,[Life Guard] & the brutal beating of David Summers by former city official Mark Criswell.

Slush fund organizations include the Echo Foundation=[county government] The convention visitor bureau = aka the city commission= The Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce= aka the Halifax Advertising Authority= aka the city commission The Cici & Hyatt Brown historic/cultural society [Gary Libby ] Calvary Christian Church, with various Baptist church organizations Habitat for humanity Halifax Health [Jeffery Feasel] with other not for profit organizations.

The Volusia County Council did the hiring, not the city. The end result is the same.

Yes the end result is the same. Wagner wanted a commission vote to keep his name out of the paper. It's doubtful that anyone voted or decided. The money is being laundered, and that's the bottom line.
