Snyper you're only pointing out the obvious. The point is emphesis is placed on sexual preference, instead of the the actions of the person or persons involved. The article lead you to a presumption of guilt, without knowing who the guilting person really is. It's a violation of the constitution even if you're sick of hearing it!

The only way the victim could have been guilty is if he started the assault first. That is not mentioned. Even if had had made sexual overtures to the men - which is nowhere stated - he still would not be the cause. Assault means just that: assault. It is not justified under law except in self-defense from another assailant.
