VIDEO: Hotel Desk Clerk Refuses to Serve Veteran and Calls the...
It is a shameful act of discrimination for a business to turn away someone who returned home after being at war with battle scars that cannot be visibly seen.

This is not a discrimination issue. It's an attack on the business owner. The point began by explaining that it was because of a veteran disability. Anyone can have a veteran disability that isn't visible they don't walk around with papers to prove it unless they know ahead of time that it's going t be a problem. Phone calls can be placed questions can asked about pet excepting pets. Pay attention it's not about being a veteran anymore. The owner has a right to refuse business why would anyone in Daytona do that unless they had valid reason. They need the business. It's a legal right to refuse business. Under the circumstances that wasn't enough the veteran forced the issue. It's about veteran's rights again with a problem that didn't have to involve the police. The veteran became angry that's creating a public disturbance it isn't about he hotel owner anymore. This is the advertising money that the HAA board spends. Free republic is an anti American independent publication.

"Patel is facing a possible misdemeanor charge, which could include a fine and jail time, for breaking the Florida law by refusing service and turning away a disabled individual and their service dog. "
YOU pay attention. She is in AMERICA now.. she needs to go home if she can't follow the law.
The soldier had documentation with him due to the fact that he has been questioned before about the validity of his pet being service related. ITS COMPLETELY ABOUT BEING AN AMERICAN VETERAN.
I do agree with the fact that the police didn't have to be involved but the ignorant hotel person was so uneducated that she assumed she was right. Kinda like you.

He didn't show proper documentation on the video tape. You can't believe that he showed proper documentation before because you didn't see that either.

Possible Jail time still doesn't mean that someone is guilty, you've made up you're mind already, that's unconstitutional regardless of where anybody is from. You can't really believe that a Florida State Law exists just for this particular situation. That's ridiculous. You didn't see his papers on the video tape and it never mentions that she needed to show any proof of American citizenship. She called the police he didn't. He can be arrested for creating a public disturbance. If he is a veteran [and you don't know that] His rights are not more important that anyone's just because of military service. If he does have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder then he's on medication and that comes with side effects. The need for a dog because of the condition only justifies that he's a victim of his own mental instability. No one can determine if the dog is trained to attack on his command until it's too late. He started this.
