Two DSC officials to be honored during Juneteenth celebration
Two Daytona State College officials will be honored as "Hometown Heroes" on Thursday, June 19, during a banquet kicking off the Daytona Beach area's annual Juneteenth celebration.Juneteenth commemorates African-American freedom and emphasizes education, achievement and community involvement.

Universities & learning institutions are Not immune from federal prosecution or lawsuits. 3 separate lawsuits have been filed against DCS for an estimated amount of $65.000.00 involving the frivolous complaints of sexual harassment- of an ['employee] and handicapped access issues [just give them what they want already] B.C.U is a wrongful termination involving the former football coach who refused to cooperate with the police to protect his son in a rape case  under the guidance of Trudie Kibbe Reed who would at that time insist that BCU have their own police force without answering to the DBPD soon after a lavish party at the Daytona Beach Yacht Club was arranged by Josh Wagner to honor Kibbe Reeds retirement with a full severance package including tax free medical benefits and a pension plan. Mayor Derrick Henry recently explained on Bernier's program that B.C.U has accumulated funds equivalent to a community redevelopment board.
