The Salt Lake Tribune endorses Obama.

http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/opinion/55019844 ...

In considering which candidate to endorse, The Salt Lake Tribune editorial board had hoped that Romney would exhibit the same talents for organization, pragmatic problem solving and inspired leadership that he displayed here more than a decade ago. Instead, we have watched him morph into a friend of the far right, then tack toward the center with breathtaking aplomb. Through a pair of presidential debates, Romney’s domestic agenda remains bereft of detail and worthy of mistrust.

Therefore, our endorsement must go to the incumbent, a competent leader who, against tough odds, has guided the country through catastrophe and set a course that, while rocky, is pointing toward a brighter day. The president has earned a second term. Romney, in whatever guise, does not deserve a first.

Even his religious backyard rejects romney.

I lived in FL for 15 years and I'm totally confused. Paul Ryan at every town hall meeting talks how he wants to get rid of Medicare for vouchers and that social security was a ponzi scheme and should be privatized. With all the retirers in FL....what happened? I thought for sure they would do all they could to hang onto their Medicare and Social Security (and mine).
The vouchers do not cover pre-existing conditions and opens up the "donut hole" so many fall through.

Equally confusing to me is that so many veterans are here and Romney went to France to avoid the service as all his sons have avoided it. That doesn't bother our retired veterans? On the other hand, the craziest person in the House is Allen West and BECAUSE he was in the service (altho kicked out) Florida seems to love him and will probably vote him back in.

I just don't care it.

What are you people thinking?

Beginning in 2023, Americans could use their Medicare dollars to choose from a menu of private plans, along with Medicare’s traditional fee-for-service system. Every year there would be a competitive bidding process among all plans to determine the dollar amount of the federal contribution that seniors would use to purchase coverage.” Competition … individual choice … the private market.

Obama's Benghazi is the worst attempt at cover up the American people have ever seen. We know who did what and when. Why Hillary, Susan Rice, Carney, and Obama are still not indited in the cover up is beyond me. Terrorism is alive and growing. The killing of Bin Laden did nothing to stop that. Obama tried to cover that fact up right before an election. They have to be severely punished to set an example to other politicians who would trade American blood for political gain.

Orlando Sentinel Endorses Mitt Romney After Supporting Obama In 2008

The Huffington Post
By Nick Wing
10/19/2012

Four years after throwing its support behind then-presidential candidate Barack Obama, the Orlando Sentinel is saying it's time to change course.

In an editorial announcing the paper's endorsement of GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, the editorial board of the large Florida daily delivers some harsh criticisms of the president, while admitting that they're not entirely satisfied with Romney's positions.

"We have little confidence that Obama would be more successful managing the economy and the budget in the next four years," the editorial board writes, after outlining their displeasure with nagging deficits and a slow economic recovery. "For that reason, though we endorsed him in 2008, we are recommending Romney in this race."

The editorial goes on to accuse Obama of not pursuing sufficient bipartisan efforts to tackle the debt and deficit, while praising Romney for making entitlement reform a prominent campaign issue.

The Sentinel is not alone in expressing dissatisfaction with a candidate they endorsed in 2008. The Tennessean, a pro-Obama paper four years ago, came out with a Romney endorsement earlier this week. The New York Observer also recently announced its support for Romney after backing Obama in 2008.

Fact-Checking the Obama Campaign's Defense of its $716 Billion Cut to Medicare

8/16/2012

The Obama campaign has been forced to defend its $716 billion in cuts to the Medicare program, cuts that Mitt Romney promises to repeal. In the weeks ahead, those Obama defenses won’t hold up. Here’s why...

APOTHEFACT CONCLUSION: Romney’s budget doesn’t preserve Obamacare’s Medicare cuts. Simple as that.

Obamacare’s Medicare cuts harm seniors’ health benefits.

APOTHEFACT CONCLUSION: Seniors’ benefits won’t change on paper. But they will change in reality, because fewer and fewer doctors will accept their insurance. Less care is the result.

Obamacare doesn't cut wasteful spending from the Medicare Advantage program

APOTHEFACT CONCLUSION: Medicare Advantage offers seniors higher-quality care at a lower cost than government-run Medicare. Obamacare should have sought to save money by expanding the program, instead of undermining it.

The Romney plan preserves Medicare’s benefits without exposing seniors to rising health-care prices.

WHY Does Obama SUCK so badly?

Is because he's at Fundraisers pimping for Cash instead of helping our Diplomats when they called for Help in Benghazi?

It it because Obama says "THE PRIVATE SECTOR is doing just fine" while Wages are going Down?

Cory Booker: Obama And I Are Still Friends After Bain Comments

The Huffington Post
By Luke Johnson
06/19/2012

Newark Mayor Cory Booker (D) said Tuesday that he and President Barack Obama are still friends after a May 20 "Meet The Press" interview where the mayor called criticisms of Mitt Romney's tenure at private equity firm Bain capital "nauseating."

Obama is indeed excrement so it's no surprise even Obama's surrogates are sick of smelling him.

Obama appears wiped-out, low on energy, even so what depressed.

We need someone who is invigorated, excited, and ready to right this country.

We need a jumpstart.

We can't wallow in $16 trillion debt, high gas prices and ridiculously being dependent on foreign entities for our energy from countries which are in unstable regions of the world.

The cost of food is outrageous.

Obama's educational plan, Race To The Top is a failure. His own city of Chicago flipped their fingers at his teacher accoutability plan!

Mitt Romney grew up in the auto industry. He won't let it fail. He will make it better!

We have devalued homes, a divided America - the President has NEVER DEMONSTRATED his ability to compromise and work with other duly elected officials. That does not bode well if Obama is elected.

And as for Medicare, which everyone acknowledges is failing enterprise...why steal $716 billion from Medicare? That money could have been banked for future medicare recipients instead of being funneled to Obamacare.

We can't have another 4 years of this same mess. President Obama has not told us what his plans are. He has failed to compromise.

We do need change. Mitt Romney is the right man, at the right time.

NO in NOvember
NO to OWEbama

just tired of the inability to work with other duly elected officials. Our country isn't a 1 party system.

We MUST WORK TOGETHER and PResident OBama has failed to do that. We can't afford 4 more years of not working together, compromising!

WE are a better country when we compromise!

GO ROMNEY/RYAN

OVERTURN Obamacare = NEW president, Republican senators!

Romney knows how to work with others and can reach across the political aisle to find common ground and get legislation passed in a Bi-partisan manner.

Mitt Romney has a Good History of doing this.
Obama hussein has a Poor History of Divisiveness.

It's time for Real Change.
It's time for Romney/Ryan 2012!
