The ICI people are trying to block a stand alone Publix because they want to control all of the building in the area. The current Publix on Taylor Road is a major traffic jam because of all of the over building and poor planning, a major part of which is ICI's fault. The addition of ICI's new development off Pioneer Trail will only make things worse, unless a new store is built. I live near Samsula and would welcome an opportunity to not add to the traffic on Taylor Road. I would even go to a IGA to avoid the mess. If they do build a grocery store, please let them have a liquor store so we don't have to drive on Dunlawton for booze. Also, less or smaller electric carts that block all the isles for two yards of shelves. The electric carts seem to be a form a entertainment for some of the people.

The bid for state representative made by Maureen France would replace Fred Costello. An attempt by France [The France family ] to gain the territory south of Beville Road could very well have been stopped by Dr. Costello because intentions indicate that as a Port Orange resident Maureen France would stay in political favor of redirecting money. It isn't a coincidence when there is this much suspicion that Publix in Daytona Beach [the shopping center infamous for the gathering of the Turkey Rod Run sold for a reported $23m. Or that a Bravo Supermarket has opened in the Daytona Promenade Obviously Dr. Costello lost the bid and France was given what she wanted by forcing business in the direction of the speedway and harming business that would effect the residents. You just want to go to the store and the France Family made it difficult. The company that allegedly bought the Eleanor Shopping Center was never mentioned in the article just the idea that it was sold and that occupancy is only expected too improve. Dirty politics!

The federal investigation will turn to McCroskey as a major stock holder in I.S.C. and Florida Power & Light. The dispute over land purchase rights [which government does not have a right too..] Is mentioned again because the owner of the trailer park on Beach Street had a dispute with McCroskey after telling him that he wasn't welcomed on the property. Everything is loaded down with property disputes that should be the focus. Money direction is an established motive. Bret Drill [M.G. Towers] allegedly bought out the bankrupt [$30m over 30 yrs. loan] of George Anderson the previous owner of Marina Grande. Dill [actually a resident of Fort Lauderdale] has a bad business history. An excuse to build a retention pound on the property of the trailer park [as you may know] is an attempt to reestablish the property lines of- the Second Street Market, The road paved with good intentions Dill wants to use the property to add additional towers using the retention pond as an excuse. A dispute between MCroskey and the trailer park own is supposed to be a legal matter that goes over the State Attorney's Office [maybe it's federal who knows] Johnson & McCroskey spend too much time prending that they're not connected to dirty money.

I don't believe that she is a France as in the First Family of Daytona France. The store being proposed for Pioneer Trail in not in the France territory. It is in an ICI territory, which is just as bad and expansive. Remember the land purchase involving Mori Hosseini that drew so much attention? His kingdom is south, the France's is north. Except for the NASCAR sign that showed up at the NSB Speedway, there's no proof they are expanding south.

It's a ;lot of coincidence! That's what confuses the facts. ICI Intervest Construction ... Office Headquarters Beville Road Daytona builders of the Pavilion The France Family [maybe ?] they are a family notorious for secrets that include keeping people away from the day to day opperations of the track. They are notorious for keeping names out of the paper- away from publicity. they are by all means not above suspicion. The suspicion of someone involved in political movement that involves an entire county with the name France..? Ok not a lot on Intervest Construction that's the problem. Maureen France is a resident of Port Orange something isn't adding up. The connection of ICI has something to do with stopping progress- redirection of money intent to use money for other reasons. There are no limitations city spending/county spending- same idea it just shifts.

Intervest Construction is not accredited with the better business bureau . Standards and practices of the B.B.B. do not recognize the company as one who has applied for a license with the better business bureau.

Back to this topic again. Mori is trying hard to keep this store from where it is needed. I hope the Volusia County Council sees it is not about the Iranian and his ICI subdivision. If he wants, he can build one there too! Right now there is more people west and south that need it.

Ok admittedly the previous comments were off topic and more than a bit rambling. Expectations for any type of construction in Volusia county,, as far as waiting..... for any commission member to give approval only seems self motivated by greed. Suspects payoffs and suspicions can not be ignored.

Yes, a little off topic, but still true about the greed and corruption in our government. Mori is a big Republican donor who probably gave to everyone's election campaign.

That won't stand in the way. Davis can hand in an absentee vote. This is a land dispute issue with problems being caused by Deb Denys.
