Yes... The Streamline hotel was raided by the police for running a prostitution ring. It also occupies a great deal of space,(an entire city block if i'm not mistaken) if i am mistaken i'm pretty damn close. There is a small building across the street, next to the smoke shop,(unoccupied i believe) that could also be put to good use. So ya see where i'm going (i thought ya would) TEAR DOWN the streamline it's outdated. A great deal of A1-a needs to be reconstructed, let the tourists pay for what the locals need. that's how it works not the other way around. Far too many souvenir shops bend together something tourists & locals will enjoy. Live Music venues consisting of locals with good talent. something along those lines,....i'm just thinking, romantic places to take you're lady (good ocean front restaurants. Something that would benefit the smaller hotel owners/employee so that they can inprove there properties, and stop struggling so much.,

On friday night a man was in a fight outside the streamline bar. He got sucker punched after he thought the fight was over and was hurt pretty bad enough to be in cridical care in the hospital for a week. The owner of the hotel stood on the balcany and watched. He was ask to call the police by the bouncer and his statement was no don't call the police or 911. He did nothing!!!!!!!!!!So the man had to drive himself to the hospital. DO WE WANT THIS KIND OF MAN DOING BUSINESS IN OUR TOWN. I SURE DON'T. How do I know this because the man is my son. He held out his hand to shake the other mans hand and got sucker punched for it. The police are called to this place all the time. Take them out nobody can do it but us.

Thanks for the warning. We are planning a trip to Daytona and I know we won't be staying there.
