Sorry for the loss of your members. Defiant crew doesnt exactly sound like a group who would step up and accept any responsibility or awareness for safety of biking. The news said they had a police escort? why would that be necessary? is there a law regarding how many bikes can ride in a group? So even with a police escort an accident still happened. really i am sorry for the loss but when i heard the name "defiant" crew it evoked an image of rebel bikers. sorry but if i see a gang of bikers im not going to show a whole lot of hospitality to a group of men walking around in leather with this name across their backs. im going to think they are some kind of hells angels bad biker type group. what is their story? are they wannabe bad boys with a cool bad boy club name or are they a bunch of spoiled men who like their toys like that movie with john travolta and those guys who go on a bike ride.

who said i had an agenda? just asked a question. ok so what were they doing? there name suggest im guessing defiance AGAINST authority etc. so i was just wondering if they were indeed a defiant gang. sounds like another person also needs to learn not to judge a book by its cover or condemn someone for asking a question about something they would like to know more about. never mind i will look them up. thanks for the unuseful info. you are a butthole

ok then thats what I was wondering no need to get defensive. so thier name is meant to be sarcastic i guess. well being an old woman i would not get that if i saw them hanging around the gas station or someting. i would think they might be a old woman rapeing gang or something with a name like that. so now i feel better knowing their club name is sarcasm. shouldnt they have (sarcasm) in little parethesis below their name. just a suggestion.

They had a police escort, so that should tell you everything you need to know about them.

Motorcycles gangs or groups have a bad reputation historically. Recent shows like Sons of Anarchy don't help to alter the myth. However, these groups of motorcycle riders give back the community through rallys, toy drives, road runs and other ways to raise money for people in need. Black leather is just the standard gear - it is safer, can take a meeting with the pavement better than a Tshirt and jeans or a jacket and tie. Be more open minded. My dad is almost 80 and still rides a Harley and he's a good Christian man. Let go of the old stereotypes. In all honesty I am envious when I see these riders riding responsibly. I'd love to be a biker girl. In the meantime, pray for these families and this group of people who have lost some of their own. AND OPEN UP YOUR MINDS AND HEARTS.

They range from truckers to factory workers. Most are family men aand women

Just like my boys, they ride for the fun of it! They do bike rallies from time to time. Mostly to help out the "Forgotten Child Fund" cause even though they learned to ride young we still didn't have a lot, so they think back on "lean" times & think 'bout other little ones that might not had as much as they did. Even though it wasn't a whole lot.

They had an escort so they could run lights, not because they are "bad", cops escort same as they do a funeral. This time things went wrong.

im trying to be open minded about these motorcycle clubs but after reading the numerous post on other thread its hard to take these bikers serious with all their threats and use of language and anger. some good points were made and questions were asked but those comments were ignored and it was all about threatening and name calling. outspoken has been just as rude with his name calling and comments about the dead.but he brought up some good points too. very interesting to know that this is a swinger bike club. it explains some things i wondered about. i know some of these bikers casually. just know they were in a club. now it explains some extra friendly behavior and comments ive heard.its wonderful these bikers have fund raisers as some have pointed out in between diry comments. someone else pointed out about all the drinking and disrespect of women that goes on at these meetings they have. a few women have really defended this lifestyle or expressed a desire to be a wife or gf of a biker.well if you enjoy being exploited and used as an object then good for you but realize you are going to be passed around. ive heard several men say they wouldnt join a club no explanation given. being a woman i guess they didnt want to offend me with the reasons but thanks to this topic and things i have seen on tv i guess i know now. these men are respectable gentlemen and dont want their love of riding dictated by arrogance and rules of expected disrespect for women. my husband doesnt ride but if he came to me and said he wanted to join a club there would be a very long talk but he is a mature, adult, logical, respectable, free thinking man, who would not allow a group of other men dictate his biking choices.

Gossip is all that's on here, if you have a question about the clubs or people involved in them just ask them. Don't fall into the gossip bs. People seldom are honest or respectful when there is anonymity around.

i find sometimes gossip is a great way to get very useful and correct info. the exchange of any kind of written or oral information between two people or a group is the start of finding out actual facts. so gossip isnt as bad as people make things out. someone hears some information. passes that info onto someone else. if that person knows some additional info that might be to the contrary then they share. etc on and on.... gossip is conversation. we all dont just sit around automatically knowing facts. its discussed and shared and debated and argued and sometimes very strong opinions are formed. all i have read in the the other post is a lot of people angry. they dont want others to have a negative opinion but they are very negative in their support by wanting to resort to violence and name calling to defend their leisure activity.they dont want to discuss and present good actual facts to defend their hobby. police get anonymous info on leads on criminal activity all the time. if someone gave me anonymous info that might be benefical to me id welcome it. for example if a guy asked me out who rides a bike and someone told me he was a member of a motorcyle club.considering all ive read and heard. i would want to investigate more and inform myself on these men and women and their activity. if i find out this info to be true then this is a man i would pass up because no man is worth disrespecting my body and my morals. dont knock gossip. its a great eye opener and tool. if "justice served" has some positve info on these bikers then this is a great forum to share. we have already heard they do fundraising activity but even organized crime uses things as a front for illegal or immoral activity. it looks like "outspoken" has done some research his self. really dont know why he is so passionate on this subject but he has raised questions on their moral practices.

The sisters are a support organization not part of their club.

Your fixation is intriguing up to the point you bash but dont seem to have the ability to just ask to sit and talk to one of them.

Why such bitter hatred for not only that club but bike riders in general?

are you a sister? or a man speaking for the "sisters". why sit and talk to one when obviously there seems to be several who can, if they wanted to, educate us right here on this forum. im guessing there will be a new rule added to their law which will include. no discussions be made on a public forum. ok to name call and threaten though. i know a woman who was married. raised kids. divorced and started dating again and happened to get involved with a guy who rode bikes. maybe she was just weak minded or went through a midlife crisis or something but she did change and not exactly for the better. went a little wild. maybe being married with kids was the anchoring force that kept her at a more even minded person. i feel this biker lifestyle changed her. they arent together anymore. shes a little more outgoing than before but shes more of her old self. im glad this man and his lifestyle didnt get a long hold on her.

beautiful day isnt it. just saw a guy riding a motorcycle down the highway. helmet. but no shirt. im thinking hes really not the sharpest tool in the shed. even if he had a minor scrape with a piece of pavement he would suffer some pretty bad road rash. if you are going to ride. ride responsibly and this was the perfect example of a man who has no thought to safety. im guessing he would be the type to run a light and put a family in a car in danger. i raise my beer to the guy riding on a bike with no shirt. oh but he does have a helmet. same goes for the biker women on the bikes whos men like them in as little clothing as possible. hope he knows how to dress a severe road rash for his woman if she ever needs it thanks to his lack of respect for her, others and law. from all i see riding bikes as a past time is just an excuse for grownup to dress up or DOWN as some do. be a part of a group because some just cant enjoy a hobby unless its done as a group activity. what a better way to enjoy a swinging lifesyle too ;);)
