if they are anything like wbn guards then cheating and screwing around is the norm. are you looking for an affair? then you should be in luck. id say everyone gets along great ;) just ask the "tall one" at wbn. He is all about cheating with the new hires. has quite the record for being especially nice and helpful with all the women.

I can speak for the "gaurds" at Sequoyah, because I am one of them. We are trained to protect the public and paid well to do so. We have bought houses, new cars and sent our kids to college. I am honored to work for TVA. As officers we are held to a high standard. So talk your talk, and spread your silly gossip, while we work to protect you.

ok tva worker we all know the guards are a joke. but go ahead and pat yourself on the back and brag if you need to to make you feel good about yourself. protect us? all you know about is using "protection" when you are out screwing the female guards or if you are a female guard making sure you have "protection" before letting coworker bang you. have a good day. High standard my a s s!

Get all the guards together and start procedings and with the money you get from these crap starters buy your wife some BLING. Six people just had their names put up here and taken down and are in the process of asking a judge for locations on these people. Their crap starting days are soon to be over. BAHAHAHAHAHA

I knew that when I posted that comment, some really great comments would be made. So you have a right to your opinion. I am still very proud of the job that I have. And the ability it gives me to provide for my family. God Bless.

I want to join in and sue. Tell me where to go join up with you guys. Tell me your name so we can meet and compare notes. We need a good judge out in california to order Topix to give us names and ip's. No other state judge can do it. I heard there was already a lawsuit, can we join in on that one? Thanks for this info and be sure to tell me your real name so I can meet you. A couple friends I have would like to join in as well.

In what way are you trained to "protect" me and coddle me and keep me safe if a reactor melts down? Tell me so I can pass that information on to Japan. Just keep checking ID's at the gate be glad Wackenhut hasn't underbid your guard job. All we need is another batch of TV cop sitcom watchers thinking people like me need protecting.

So in other words United States, you opted to change your user name again and still not disclose who you are. Now had my intelligence level been that od a 3rd grader you may have bluffed me. So I just changed my name to post this just so you would think I gave a sh*t lol. Have fun with it, I am!

Im gonna say this and then Im done. My house is not in foreclosure, I have never filed bankruptcy, I have health insurance, and my credit is good . With the shape that the economy has been in, I consider myself pretty lucky to be a "Sequoyah gaurd".

good point. just what are they protecting us from? terrorist? yes. checking id's right and then what? how will they protect if a natural disaster strikes? will they care about the public? no. I would be worried about getting my a ss as far away as possible. so basically "protecting the public" runs as deep as checking ids to see who is authorized and not. hmmm i think its time to reexamine salaries and job qualifications because it seems money may be wasted but i think most everyone knows tva has been a waste of money for a long time. sorry thats my opinion... grow a set and thicken your skin if you cant handle negative opinions. if you cant handle negative opinions then maybe you are not qualified for position of guard. did you pass the psych test?

We don't just check id's (we hate it more than you do, by the way). You have no f*cking clue what our job entails. What do we protect you from? Let's see, if you need out in a hurry because of a meltdown (possibly from a natural disaster), who controls the sallyport for a rapid evacuation? And who has to stay until everyone is out? If terrorists decide to try to take over the plant, who steps up and puts their life on the line for you AND the public? If an employee becomes irate and possibly dangerous (trust me, it happens), who takes control of them and escorts them offsite to prevent any further damage? Who is REQURIRED to be here by the NRC in order for the plant to even operate? There are many, many things we do around here.(It takes about two months of training before you can even work on shift. Even then you don't know everything. The rest is lots of OJT.) Our job consists of endless amounts of responsibilities. A lot more than you know. So unless you have been in our shoes, then shut it. You're clueless. And TVA needs to reexamine salaries? Maybe yours. But we are not just paid for what we do everyday, but also for what me might have to do for you if the sh*t hits the fan. While you would be busy hiding under your desk, we would be busy running straight to the action. I have full confidence in the people I work with to cover my back. We have the smarts, strategies, training and know-how to protect you. Many are ex military. Several are active. So you KNOW they have the training. Now get off your high horse and show some respect.

Let me guess, you were born with two winkies too, I bet both of them are BIG lololol If there is a meltdown you would go from being a jerk in a uniform to like those chicken New Orleans cops did. It is all fun and games with the shades, the gun and all but once it gets tough, YOU QUIT YOUR JOBS. Every scenario you mentioned would be handled by the Rhea County sheriff. You would do as he says. He will have the mobile command center and you will fetch coffee for him or whatever else he wants. That federal building sits on state soil. I'd ratcher see Walden Security or Wackenhut get the bid job and save the public some money. Sorry your bubble got deflated.
