I've been going to Steve's the last few years. Always nice, and reasonable. Never tried to rip me off.

Do not trust J&R's Garage in Graysville. Bj is a nice man and tries his best, but I found out the hard way he is not the most knowledgeable. He uses a "trial and error" form of "let's see if this works" to fix your automobile. Nothing wrong with that unless you need your vehicle back and can't afford to keep buying parts. Don't even get me started on how rude, uncouth, and pushy redneck his wife is!

A lot of people have taken their cars and trucks to Jim Montgomery over the many years and he's always done great work on my cars. He will let you get your own parts or tell you where to get the best parts at and then you don't have to over pay him either. He's always done right for me and I will always use him cause he don't rip me off for labor. He's been a mechanic all his life. He's a good guy too. Does jobs in his spare time because he works a full time job in town.

I got hit by a deer a while back and the insurance company sent me to dayton collision. When I went to pick the car up the hood was on crooked, it was still covered in wax on it from where they buffed the paint, and it had a chrome headlight on one side and a black headlight on the other. They said they couldnt see it in the shop when I saw it from down the road. You couldn't miss it. Its in their contract to fix it for free if your not satisfied and they did but it was another day I had to go without a car after they called to tell me it was ready to be picked up

we know who you are theres always one bad apple in every bunch.you got your car fixed and its not our fault you couldn't get the parts or pay for it til 3 weeks later. don't regret waking you you should have taken care of it instead of waiting so long or not returning our calls.we've been in business for 5 years and your the only one that has complained or critsized us.and further more as for my wife she maybe a redneck and proud of it.shes never had any problem dealing with other customers.so don't go around saying things you know nothing about .its not my fault you tore your vehicle up .i don't work for free.and i feel like i treated you fairly .

I'm confused. You say you fixed this persons car, yet say "its not our fault you couldn't get the parts or pay for it til 3 weeks later." Which is it? Last time I checked this is America and everyone has the right to voice their opinion. Sounds like this person has a valid complaint. As for this being the only complaint or criticism you've received in 5 years...I call bullshit. NOBODY is that good! This is probably the fist complaint that has been brought to your attention. I'm just wondering... if you are such a good, fair, mechanic you should be so covered up in work that you don't have time to read topix. Also, if you are doing so well (and have been for the last 5 years), one would think you'd have a more respectable facility (not some shed in front of a trailer in Graysville with a hand-painted sign. Does the IRS, Dept. of Human Services, the Social Security Administration, and Better Business Bureau know how well your "business" is doing? If not, you better hope you have excellent bookkeeping skills. In this day and time all it takes is one pissed off customer to make a few phone calls to have a "business" investigated, or shut down. You live in Graysville; you should be well aware of how quickly small town talk travels, especially if it is related to bad customer service and business ethics.

Maybe you should close your "garage" and use that time to attend school and get a proper education. Looks like your grammar/punctuation could use a tune up, haha! Oh, by the way, making online threats can land one in some very serious legal trouble. Just saying.

Someone said Jim Montgomery, and I agree, best old school mechanic around, charges very little for labor, shows receipts for parts he buys for work, or tells you where to look for them.

Very honest.
