A 12yo transcript of a phone conversation. The paper did not even go into any detail. A bit presumptive to be making decisions before the facts I think.

Republican Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney and U.S. Senator Bob Corker are taking it with great seriousness: DesJarlais endorsement is now absent from their sites and campaigns. He is also now under investigation for an ethics violation.

Amazing how those phone conversation recording degrade over time. He didn't deny banging his patient, which casts serious doubt on his ethics. His "It's OK that I banged her, she turned out not to be pregnant" excuse says much about him. And his defenders.

So released court documents and no denial from the accused aren't enough?

Since we all are acting all moral and ethical now, can we submit George Thacker to the same scrutiny? We have school board members arrested for drugs, county executives arrested for trying to buy sex from Knoxville gang members and city council members getting richer from selling gas to fishermen while using city tax money to do it and all that was and is ok. So what has DesJarlais done that is so bad?

I think that DesJarlais is the best person running for that office. He is fighting against Obamacare which the USA does not need someone like Obama telling us what to do about our Healthcare. Getting back to, DesJarlais, why does a 12 year old skelton comes out of the closet when a good man is running for an office. Seem like his opponent don't think he can win , unless he starts something on his opponent. I am from Marion County where Dr DesJarlais live and he is well like in the Sequatchie Valley.

Just walk in to the Marion County courthouse and ask for public record. The proof is in the legal pudding.

That "regardless" is a sorry answer. I remember when men like Gene Elsea won an office because they had convictions, fresh ideas, and character. He was a Republican and a good man, who helped everyone regardless of how they voted. If you do not believe Congressman DesJarlais should be accountable, you do not care about true values and leadership. Just slap an R by his name and he's Jesus I guess is today's message! And if they have a D or anything else by their name they're the infidel. This type of protectorate-rhetoric is just sick. As an independent, blatant denial like this makes me disgusted in the republican party. And the party is going to support Dr. Deception all the way till the polls close, cause they know if he resigns after the election they still get to put a GOP member in their to replace. I'm sorry, but this is sad. Nancy Pelosi, Calidems do not speak for me, and Tea Partier extremists do not speak for me. Until both National parties get off their agenda-loaded high-horse and buggies, the country is going to be lost!!! Until common sense, level headed candidates like Eric Stewart step up, regardless of that letter by their name, our country will be the Divided States of America!

Maybe if the dems had actually done anything the last 4 the people would feel different. I'm an independent who has no faith in either party but I have an even bitter feeling towards dems.
