The problem associated with so called news events is that once they are told, no matter how good or bad the news is, it is soon forgotten. That is the nature of the human beast. For example, if a woman could remember the intense pain of child birth then they would only have one kid and that would be it. Naturally Jim Barnes has been dead for quite some time now, but so has George Washington. See, as long as we keep on repeating the story line then it is always fresh in the mind. So in that context, Mayor Bob Vincent and all his "little deeds" will forever be on peoples mind. I think you should just refer to me as "Mastah", you little "Grasshoppah". Dork.

Jim Barnes was a great man who served his country. Rhea County and Dayton lost a great leader. Too bad that what he stood for did not rub off on the others who sat around him.
