Dayton Air Show expects low turnout
DAYTON, Ohio Organizers of the Dayton Air Show expect smaller crowds for the two-day event this weekend, thanks to the Air Force Thunderbirds and other military support pulling out because of federal budget cuts.

Been there done that, years ago, quite a few times, looking up into the bright hot summer sky, crowded and warm, not enough shade for the swarm, heat radiating off the asphalt and concrete, making it hot on the feet, wet with sweat, standing in lines, listening to the whines. Four or five times were more than enough, no further reason to see it or show that I am tough.
