Hi,
I live in Florida and i just absolutely hate it here. Me and my family are looking for a place to move possibly to NC, SC or GA. A friend of ours lives in Dawsonville and they are really trying to get us to move there. Is Dawsonville upbuilt or very rural? Are the elemantary and colleges good? Any info you can give i would appreciate.

Dawsonville is a great place to live. We are 50 miles North of Atlanta and a small county but just in reach of all the schools, colleges, and Airport since we are close enough yet far enough from the city of Atlanta. Come up and visit your friend and take a look around if you havent already. Our family has a place in Florida also, so we have the best of both worlds. Dawsonville is a friendly place but it has been one of the fastest growing counties in the nation. Nothing like North Georgia.
