City women know that their only value is financial.
They always stress how much money they bring to a community.
They bring no other values, such as kindness, honesty, compassion, friendliness, or cordiality.
City men see their vulgar city women the same way.
They never wonder, is she a good mother, or a loyal companion.
They wonder what the woman is worth as a whore.

Actually, it is people like you that make the area look bad.
Its it people like Jorge that keep that small Ellijayian economy running. Doing the jobs that people like you are too 'proud' or egocentric to do.
"And you, fine sir", how arrogant can you be? "I am helping...", what a load of B.S... Everybody pays taxes for the same 'education', its hard to even call it that when its of the lowest quality of the nation. Some how you have it in your mind that paying taxes makes you better than someone who has moved from another nation to do that jobs people like you are too arrogant to do.

You know at first I didn't agree with Sharron's comments of the social scum, but I think I'm beginning to understand.:-(

He was thinking something like landscaping or a construction business. However it really depends on the area. Thanks again for your time :)
Darlin, good luck if that's the kind of job he's looking for. We have out of work folks that have all seemed to go into one or then other and there's no building really going on around here. It's a wonderful little town but you might want to consider just visiting. We were hit hard like every other small town a few years ago and really have not gotten back into much of a recovery. Good luck, though, and we'd love to have you visit sometime.

What is this "coming in to take over"? I'm not looking to take over anything/anywhere. We keep to ourselves and don't want to change anything anywhere. I'm not into drama or trying to be hostile towards anyone at all. I'm just trying to find a great place I can call home with our boys. It seems as though a number of people are looking for reasons to be rude or whatever but I'm a genuinely nice person so think what you would like.
Shannon,

Ellijay is a decent, safe, community, with good schools and great scenery. Remember that this site is for the grumpy flat earth society members and cyber-warriors venting against everything while sitting in their underwear and watching Fox news in the background.
Jobs, especially in construction and landscaping are tough as the recession "recovery" hasn't trickled down to here yet. However, that is part of the reason that there exist some excellent affordable homes on the market. As one person already mentioned, avoid CRR at all costs.
Visit some time and I think you will be impressed. Good luck!

Tulip is right. We used to have an insane asylum here but we found it cheaper to buy them laptops, send them home, and showed them Ellijay Topix Forum
