this bastard wanted to be caught, he was sloppy. He appreciates the warm blankets and the food he gets at the jail.

He bargained with the investigators to get out of a possible death sentance. This ass*uck wants to go to prison, so he could be taken care of for life.

I surely hope they go back on their word and killed the sick son of a bitch.

I am glad that he told them where the body is. Now she can have a proper burial and her family can lay her to rest.

Giving him the death penatly would be too easy. Prision is not going to be fun. The inmates will have a field day with his crazy a**. I unfortuantely have a family member in prision and it is not the "vacation" that citizens make it out to be. There is NO cable tv, they have to constantly work and they can only read the bible. But in this cause it sure beats living in a van huh? But from what my cousin said - murders and child molestors don't stand a chance in prision.

Well, what I was basically saying is, from what we have heard, this guy is a drifter, homeless. He may be linked to a few other murders, one murder that they are talking about up here but not in the news is Levi Frady. If it is true and he is a serial killer, it is my understanding that serial killers get sloppy when they want to be caught. He is sitting in the jail just down the road from me, I heard that he graciously thanked (someone) for his warm blankets ad food. I sure as hell hope this is not his sick was of assuring his basic needs are met for the rest of his life. The people that I work with have opened their church for the friends and family of Meridith, this is such a tragedy. Yes the death penalty is too easy, but unfortunately we can't torture him (legally, and I am an eye for an eye type person.

This is over kill, and evil. I feel so sorry for this family, and I pray for their peace in this tragic event.

An eye for an eye, and pretty soon the entire world is blind.

These stories are so sickening....like it's not bad enough that this woman's family had to lose her, but her body had to be desecrated and decapitated. Ugh, it's just grotesque.

Well..I think the whole being super nice, giving him food and extra blankets was a tatic to make him talk. I can see where they were going with it: Make him feel safe, comfortable, feed him, let him shower and see that like in jail isn't so bad. It's much better than his current living situation. SO, he figures out that he's ok and he will talk. Which he did. They had to do something, he wasn't talking at all. The Union county officals promised not to seek the death penalty in exchange to be led to the body. She was killed in Dawson County - they have not agreed not to seek the death penalty against him and Union county can only press kidnapping charges so they knew what they were doing.

It seems he is linked to Cheryl Dunlap in FL too and they can seek the death penalty if he is convicted.

I say eye for an eye too. I guess that's why I'm not employed by the government.

The creator did not give us life that we should live in cages. The world was created with every thing that lives and walks and flies, swims or crawls. We are all different. Hilton is different. A cage does not contain justice. Turn him loose. There is justice in the world. I am certain that it would find him.
