this is tanya, none of us live up the holler anymore, not since momma passed away. margie lives in princeton, chris around roanoke va, me and paul live in galax, chrissy and daddy in falls mills, va. robin in myrtle beach, jimbo in saudi arabia. my uncle carson bought the house we used to live in, or so i heard. haven;t been up the holler in 10 years. still think of it often though. great memories from there. where did you live at up the holler?

Hi Tonya..I didn't live there in the holler but LOVED it there...I lived in Twin Branch. I dated Paul in Jr. High School and now live In Mount Airy NC and Go to Galax, Va often.."wal-mart" runs...lol...small world.

margie said she remembers you, that you were paul's girlfriend in school. haven't talked to him the last few days. he works at independence lumber outside of galax. he has 3 kids. he was married to peggy roberts who used to live up the holler, and then to debbie chambers. they;ve been divorced for a long time. he has 2 of his kids. daughter he had with peggy is married and haas 3 of her own. he is doing good. i go to mt. airy some with my daughter, she lives in cana. i'm sure paul like to catch up too.

Yes I always liked Margie so much!
I have met 2 of Pauls Children but it's been a while, he has beautiful children....Wow time sure does fly by fast. My only child, a daughter is 21 years old and 4 months pregnant. We are so excited! We find out the sex of the baby in 2 weeks.
I was so sorry to hear about your Mom passing away.
If you are ever planning on coming down to Mount Airy, let me know and maybe we can meet up some time..(have an e-mail addy?) There are lots of great new stores opening up down here and nice little places to grab a bite to eat.
If you see that Paul, please tell him for me ..I want to see him again..lol I would love to catch up on old school days memories...the first time he came to my house...he walked all the way from Big Jenny to Twin Branch carrying a puppy for me at 6:00 am in the morning...lol..I loved that little dog! Paul was always a very nice person, who has a big heart.
We are really close to Lowgap so we are not far at all from Galax. That is how I ran into Paul one day while I was shopping in Wal-Mart...I passed him and thought wait a minute I know him from some where and when I walked up to him and saw his face..I knew right away it was Paul as had not changed a bit. He was still just as handsome as ever and didn't look like he had aged at all....I wish I had gotten his number but really didn't even think about it at the time.

my only daughter sherry is 27, having a girl on nov. 19th, naming her magnolia mae. also have 4 stepkids. one is in the army, going to iraq in nov. a daughter in college, and 2 boys that live with us, 12 and 13. paul must of really cared about you to carry a dog all that way. here is my email address, [e-mail]. when margie comes down again will let you know so we can get together. said she would love to see you.

That would be GREAT for us gals to get together for lunch or dinner...or you both would be welcome to come here to my home and I could cook for us, cook out on the grill or order out.
It would be so nice to meet you and see Margie again...She was always a wonderful friend to me in school..someone who was always there for me...A "True" friend. I saw her a few times when she worked in the Mercer mall in Bluefield but it's been a while.
Congrats on your new grandbaby on the way...I love the name Magnolia Mae..that is beautiful. I am also excited about being a first time grandma on March..We are counting the days...lol Hoping the next 2 weeks go by fast so we hopefully can find out the sex of the baby. We have heard the heart beat a few times which was an amazing experience..and yeah I will admit..I cried like a baby when I heard it.
You sound like a VERY busy Mom.
I don't know if Paul cared about me that much but I sure was sweet on him..lol He was so nice and really respected me which was rare back then and now. Not many boys and men respect girls and women but Paul always did..he was always the perfect gentleman...still can't believe I let him get away...lol That's one I should have held on to really TIGHT..I do regret that...to be honest...I am glad to hear he is happy and doing good.

i wish i could say i was the youngest, but i;m not. there were 7 of us. chrissy, then me, jimbo, paul, margie, chris and robert. i left home in 77 when i graduated. spent a couple of years in the army. then lived in davy till 89, then moved here to va and have been here ever since. worked in a couple of the furniture factories in galax till george, my hubby, got custody of his kids. they were 3 and 4 years old then. stayed home and took care of them then. didn;t expect to be raising kids again after raising my daughter, but you never know what life brings you. i wouldn;t have it any other way. when you email me i will send you margies email. you have a good night too.

yeah, this is tanya. our daughter is names sherry. she graduated from radford university a year ago. now we are going to be grandparents in november. you will have to call him gramps the next time you see him. who are you?

peanut lives at mohegan in the house his uncle bill had. i remember some of the guys he played ball with.
