Tony Cantrell supposedly stabbed Doc Roberts. Thats what I heard. I also heard that the knife may have punctured Docs lungs. I dont know any of this to be fact, I wan't there. Thats just what I was told at the store, by one of the employees. I wont say who just incase this isnt the case. However, I dont think for one minute that the person who told me would lie. So anyway, thats the story I got.

DAVY – An argument over a chain saw led Tuesday to the stabbing of one McDowell County resident and the arrest of another.

The West Virginia State Police was dispatched after a fight was reported at 4 p.m. in Davy, said the investigating officer, Trooper J.S. McCarty.

“There was a verbal altercation between two subjects that originated over a stolen chain saw,” McCarty said.“It led to a physical altercation between them. At the end, one of the subjects had been stabbed in the upper torso at least one time.”

Dock Roberts, 35, of Davy was transported to Welch Community Hospital where he was listed in stable condition, McCarty said.

Troopers arrested Anthony Cantrell, 41, also of Davy. Cantrell was charged with one count of malicious wounding, assault during commission of a felony, and one count of brandishing. He was remanded to the McDowell County Jail pending arraignment.

Sgt. W.C. Tupper, Sgt. A. Maddy, Trooper First Class B.J. Garretson and Senior Trooper J.W. Keffer also worked on the case.

Maybe this time Tony Cantrell will stay in jail for a long time. He is nothing but trouble.

I agree I hope he does finally get some jail time, it amazes me he was fighting and scared of getting his ass whipped so he stab's the guy, just ignorant to me.
If your gonna get out here and cause trouble like Tony does then you have to expect that sooner or later your gonna run up on the wrong one who is gonna beat that ass, take it like a man, it takes a coward to use a weapon.
