This is very difficult. Lorrie was a mentor and friend at a time of great need for me. She was caring and fun, supportive and stimulating. She thought I belonged at Fermilab. That shocked me and turned out to be one of the best times of my life.
I'm crying as I write this and cannot believe she's gone so soon. I pray and trust God treats her as she so richly deserves.
