Who cares that he's out on bail. It's a minor offense. They let Nick Sord out of Jail and he murdered someone.

I will bet a 2g blue Boomer that Nick gets less of a punishment than this kid.

being charged with 2 felonies, a class 3 and a class 1 doesn't sound so minor to me.

And, how comical, he lives on "Northern Lights" way. Northern Lights being a type of weed.

So, this kid gets to push drugs and he gets what appears to be a slap on the wrist? What a great judicial system. He should sweep the halls of his school w/a toothbrush for a year as punishment. He learned nothing except mommy and daddy will bail him out and the system will plop him right back in school. Unreal. Although, kids like this usually don't learn much and end up doing harder time down the road. Just a matter of time.

Mad mom people get bailed out all the time for far worse crimes....when you are out on bail you agree to show up for your court date which he of course has not had yet, not sure why your blaming the judicial system....yet anyway.

Its time to start using these cases as a lesson in the early years of high school. Have the police come in to an assembly and lay out what has happened and what will happen. Maybe the offender as well as part of his community service.
This young man is now going to be a convicted felon. Even if he gets probation for this case, he has just pissed away a lot of future chances he may have had. Also lay out the fact that this kid, thought he was being hard ass drug dealer and impressing his little friends. Well guess what. One of them got caught and ratted his ass out and quick. There is no loyalty amongst thieves or any criminals for that matter.

Its time for a wake up call. These kids think they are playing some game out here. They think they are being ghetto and are hard core. Those kids that get caught in the ghetto, have nothing and come from nothing, most times. Going to prison for a hard core gang banger is just another step for them. Going to prison as a little white puke is hell. Those kids in the ghetto are doing that to support themselves, to eat and to have all the nice things. Out here mommy and daddy are all providing all those things.
I dont support selling drugs for anyone. But I understand if you are trying to keep a roof over your head and food on the table. But these kids out here are doing this to try and have some kind of status amongst their peers.
One last rant. Parents these kids are living under your roof. You need to know what the hell they are doing and keeping in your house. Open your eyes and look around their room. Change that. Search their room. You have the right to know what they are doing. You just might save their ass, by being a parent and not a friend.

I don't agree with the part of being understanding about selling drugs to keep a roof over your head.......the answer to that is find a legal job like the rest of us.

Legalize drugs and you never had this problem. Non violent drug offenses cost the taxpayer way too much.

I wasnt advocating it. However people will do a lot of things to make it however they can, was the point. And that the kids arent even selling the drugs for those reasons. Yes I agree about finding a job. Which this young man just made a hell of a lot harder for himself.

I want to know why this does not fall under "zero tolerance' policy with the school. I understand that he did not get caught with it IN school, seems to be splitting hairs. Kids get punished by the school when caught drinking, doing drugs etc via pictures on a Saturday night. Shouldn't he be expelled........

he is still innocent until proven guilty. After his day in court, they may expel him, but until then; I don't know if they can. I'm curious to find out what will happen. It's also sad to think that his future will be much more difficult than it should have been, hopefully he gets his Shiz together and makes this right.
