'Must not know' must get their head out of their *** and go to school to learn to spell. Also, yes there are details again that everyone but insiders do not and will not know.

'must not know' chose a fitting name. This person must not know too much about anything.

Not one piece of evidence, not one statement, no DNA, no trial and yet plenty of posters already defending the system and convicting a guy who reported it. So much for innocent until 'Proven' guilty. I sure hope none of these people are ever on a jury, they will vote guilty based on a DD article.

Who needs a trial, lets just get a rope and a tall tree.

I WAS BORN AND RAISED HERE IN WOODLAND. AND I LOVED IT SO MUCH. ITS USE TO BE SO PEACEFUL. WE COULD WALK DOWN THE STREET AND NOT HAVE TO LOOK OVER OUR SHOULDERS EVERY 5 SECONDS. ITS SAD, BECAUSE NOW IM STAYING IN MORE. AND NOT ENJOYING THIS TOWNS FULL POTENTIAL. THE REAL PROBLEM IS THAT WE GOT TO MANY DAMN TWEEKERS IN THIS FREAKIN PLACE. ROBBING, STEALING, AND KILLING OVER DRUGS OR TO GET MONEY TO GET THEIR FIX. CANT WE HAUL THEM TO SOME REMOTE ISLAND IN ANOTHER COUNTRY? IT SUCKS THAT THE SYSTEM ISNT DOING WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO OR ENOUGH, TO GET THE DRUGS UNDER CONTROL. I UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS CRIME IN EVEN THE MOST QUIETEST TOWNB IN THE WORLD, I DONT EXPECT WOODLAND TO BE PERFECT OR CRIME FREE, BUT SOMETHING NEEDS TO HAPPEN OR ELSE WE GOING TO END UP ANOTHER GHETTO A** TOWN.

What sucks is that the police force is not doing a good job of doing their jobs! OR, maybe it's job security, if they do clean up our streets then what will the "Po Po" have to do?

Interesting, because I have never felt the need to constantly look over my shoulder and I'm out and about all the time, even after sunset.

What we need to do is get a better police chief. I know some of the WPD cops and they say that the majority of them really cannot stand the currant leader Carey Sullivan. They have tried to vote him out as a union but the city manager does nothing and so this is what we have a decade after this chief has been there. Get a new leader and give them more money to save our city. I dont think its too late but its on the verge and those of us that have lived here our whole lives know that there was the most growth in crime in the last ten years.

Time to get a respected leader at the helm.

What's "ON THE VERGE?"

That's interesting -- The local gang phenom began in the mid-1980's and that's much longer than ten yrs. ago? Since you have been here a long time you should know the circumstances of the first drive-by in Woodland, right? Tell us more BPC...

Just being the devil's advocate -- What exactly has the chief done wrong - not been popular in a popularity contest?

Please spell out all of the issues regarding Sullivan, of which you have direct, first-hand knowledge. Thanx...

Chief Sullivan
He is the reason 80% of the most experienced officers left to go other places for less pay and lower rank just to get away from chief sullivan.

He is not faithful to his wife and people at the department know about this.

He conducts personal business on taxpayer time frequently and daily with his city cell phone, city email and city time, and this is well documented.

He is involved in a tax fraud with a local developer and a local charity.

He tried to hire from outside the deparment rather than promoting one of our own from Woodland PD which is a slap in the face to those who work for him.

He took a 10% pay raise right after he gave his own troops a 5% pay cut.

He thinks he is untouchable. Slimy loser is more accurate.

Yolo Taxpayers Association ...on to him.
