"...received a $228,698 grant ..."

Hurry! We have to spend the money! Get those buses out there running around town empty.

Gee, at $10 per taxi ride, this grant could actually help 22,869 needy people with a taxi ride. Nah...that makes too much sense. Get the buses going!

Poor Max. Talks about things he does not understand with the same clarity he talks about things he does understand. Pathetic!

Give a bureaucrat an extra dollar and he will find a way to waste it. I would hope the city is planning to somewhat fill the buses before sending them out city to city. I want to know how they will coordinate that.

This should be interesting ...

I have seen empty buses going from one garage sale to another. Now they can go to ALL garage sales in Solano County. And the dummies, the taxpayers, are subsidizing this. I say do away with the buses.

Good luck finding an intercity taxi ride for $10.

No problem. I have friends that do this all day long. Talk to any taxi driver in VV.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Capricorn

You're swayed by your emotions today, making you susceptible to other people's machinations. Are you putty in the hands of your beloved? Are you willing to do whatever, just to keep the peace? Watch out for the influence of another's black mood, or you'll soon start to feel just as miserable. Fortunately this strange mood won't last long.
