Gateway Center looks to expand

The process has begun to build phase II of the Woodland Gateway Center, an expansion more than twice the size of the original site consisting of big box stores like Costco, Target and Best Buy.

We need an automall? What about some quality restaurants and good shopping?

Did the developer consider the size of the town vs automall need. I think it will ruin the area. How do the homeowners feel about the expansion?

Well the smog should be on that list "Intelligent", you live in a town that has a major interstate going through it. I do agree we don't need and automall.

I agree, I don't think there is a need for an automall. We need to think locally and consider the ones already here. It will only create more empty lots in the rest of town.

Not to mention, why would they expand the Gateway area if all of the land in Gateway 1 hasn't been filled? Plus, being so close to the treatment plant has already raised odor concerns. How would expanding in that direction help any?

I think developers are too eager to do do do and not think think think.
