Give me a break. Your going to sue the City because your relative, a homeless man who was so drunk he didn't hear or see the police car coming, then jaywalked across the road at night in a poorly lit area, and was killed...and it is the police officer's fault. How about taking responsibility for one's actions. No accountability anymore. You can be a drunken complete idiot, break the law, and still blame someone else. This is what the world is coming to. I hope you guys lose big.

Actually, the West Sacramento Police are so negligent; that this doesn't surprise me at all...

They are not out getting the criminals off the street; in fact, I know of one individual who abuses elders and there is a warrant; and the police won't get off their ass and arrest the individual --- tried for a year to get them to act on the judges warrant and I was told; they only arrest on major felonies at this time; all other warrants are not worth the paper the judge signed... The west sac police don't care -- as long as you leave them alone -- I hope this family takes what they can get from the sorry excuses of police in west Sacramento.
