My husband is a big guy with tattoos, so for some reason guys are always looking to start shit with him. The bouncer came to the bar to tell him he was cut off, did NOT ask us to leave, and walked off. My husband went to talk to him to ask why because he wasn't really drunk. When he started talking to him three more bouncers came up behind him, busted his head open, knocked him out, and drug him outside while he was unconscious. My husband never touched them. He had blood running all down his face and on his shirt. When he regained consciousness he was pissed and then he wanted to fight but I was trying to get him in the car because he needed to go to the hospital. Later the cops show up to give us both a letter saying we are banned from there. Well first thing the bar was dead it SUCKED!! Next I bet you wouldn't have even opened your mouth if you didn't have three assholes to back you up! Finally isn't your job to ask somebody to leave and escort them to the door if they are causing a disturbance? He was not causing any problems and there was no need to do what they did. That is assault and there has to be something I can do about that!

Ang e,
I have my doubts they way you tell it is how this whole thing actually went down. Sounds to me like you have it out for this place cuz your old man got cut off.

Umm actually.. I was there that night.. Your husband was being a nuisance and the bouncer told him he was cut off. Your husband then proceeded to chuck a shotglass at the bouncers head, so of course he took you out. You guys could have really hurt somebody that night and you're lucky Skybar didn't press charges against you. As for you Ange, you then tried to punch the bouncers in the back on the head as they were taking your husband outside. I say instead of gossiping over the internet, you might want to stay home and ease off the booze.

That's definitely a different version of her story! A bit more believeable. I've been there a few times and trouble is not something I have seen. I've seen a lot of people having a great time though. I would guess average age to be between 25-35. Hot bartenders and waitresses everywhere. I'm a bit old for the dance club scene but I've enjoyed myself everytime I've went.

When you hang out in a hell hole that is how you are treated. You could have wound up in jail!! If you are a drinker you need to be in jail. I am watching these bars and reporting tags to cops if you leave looking like a damn drunk!! I hate people that drink and dope, there is no difference. You deserve to be in a wreck or jailed for 25 years!!!!!

Wow!! Your comment "If you are a drinker you need to be in jail" is kinda out of bounds don't you think? There are people who can drink and not get into trouble doing it.

Wow....Car 54...get a life. If you have nothing better to do than sit outside a bar and watch people leave you should consider volunteering at a shelter.

Believe it or not, it is possible to go out to a bar and not drive home drunk.

How can you tell if someone is drunk and how do you find out where people work?

You may want to go wash the windows in your glass house...

I don't know if I would go as far as car54, but we do have a serious problem in America with people drinking and driving. I have done it as a teenager myself. Asan adult, I don't drink at all. This country tried prohibition but it didn't work. I have good friends who drive under the influince on a regular bases, with no problem. They say, "I drive better when I have been drinking because I am more careful."

I have been a bouncer for a long time. People do things like Moresville homeowner all of the time. They are NEVER drunk, even though the bartender cut him off. They acted reasonably, even though they were so drunk they were cut off. Had they simply been asked to leave,(which is NOT the way we do it, we want you to sober up if possible), they would have cooperated. They remember everything that happened, even though they were so drunk they were cut off. There ARE many bouncers in the line of work who are just jerks, BUT this sounds like she and her husband were just drunk.I know, it is ALWAYS they bouncers' fault.

The whole process is tragically flawed.
1) The bar's business depends on selling you as much alchohol as they can.
2) You most likely drove to the bar.
3) If you are in a club with 300 or 400 other people, it is unrealistic to think that a bartender can cut you off BEFORE overserving you.
4) We let you drink right up until closing time, then we tell you to drive home.
Recipe for death.

Hey DCRAIG....
I know you've "been a bouncer for a long time" but I again state that it is possible to go have a couple drinks and then take turns with your spouse/friends on who is driving.
I've never been "cut off" in a bar.....and I've never even come close to a DWI. So....even though you're a veteran bar tough guy who stereotypes the people paying your salary... Believe it or not...there are responsible adults out there.
Yep...you've seen it all Mr. Tough Bouncer Guy....now take a look at the adults in the room.

Appologies for using YOUR name in comment #12. I was actually talkig about "Ang e"
I never said that ALL people in a bar drive home drunk. The vast majority drink responsibly BUT that doesn't mean that drinking and driving isn't a problem. My point was that the bar system practically forces people to drive immediately after drinking. Even a "bar tough guy" simpleton like me can figure that out. Stereotype much?

There are plenty of those. At the same time, people don't realize that even proper bouncers remove or restrain people as a group and not one on one for the safety of the customer more than for ourselves. The idea is to out number and overpower him from the start so he won't fight, not attack him in a gang assault. I don't know where you stand on it, but a lot of people think bouncers should go man to man. To those people, I say: I am responsible for his safety, especially if I am fighting him. He may be drunk, very angry, and definitely wants to hurt me. If I fight someone man to man, does it make any sense for me to fight but NOT try to hurt him first? That's like pointing an empty gun at someone, NOT a smart idea.

Oh get over yourselves all of you. So the man was drunk. It happens and I imagine the reason the bouncers took him out was to keep him from getting even more out of control. That's their job. You go somewhere and get drunk, you need to be away from other people who do control their drinking. If you can't behave, then stay at home. And for those of you who say the bouncer should be one on one, that's nuts. You expect him to actually stand there and fight each individual who acts like an ass? You get him out to avoid that and maybe someone else getting hurt in the process. Drunk driving kills people everyday and people who do it, should be put away somewhere until they learn how to drink responsibility. Another thing is that it's not just night time club drinkers. More people are killed during the day when children are out and about so something needs to be done about the beer joints where people drink all day and then start driving with your family out there driving at the same time. Just drink responsibly if you have to drink.

ive been there a couple times and they are pretty upscale. I mean the waitresses and bartenders dress in a "fancy" slutty way, but its part of the job i think. other than that, they are pretty on top things. you have to sign up for a pass just to get in and they give u card after that to get in with...its not my kind of thing but it was ok.

if you have to go to trashy places like this to meet people or have a good time your pathetic. stay home and drink. 90% of you all do this and drive home thinking your ok to do so. admit it,

if this is all you have to look foward to on the weekend what a sad excuse for a life you have. all these places need to be shut down. nothing but trash and drunks anyway.
