Two sets of Grandparents One only in NJ not so far away is it.
Most likely she enjoyed military help with school and knew darn well this could happen at any time
Everyone is made aware of this and the first rule is don't sign anything till you read it fully.
This is not the first person that has been callled back and it won't be the last.
Get over it and stand up to your promise to serve till your time is up.
My husband will be retiring in two years and because of his job in the military he can be called back for up to seven years.
He will be 64 at retirement so that means he could be called back till he is 71.
No big deal to us because he knows and will be prepared if it happens.

sorry about this woman's situation, but she knew it could happen and should have been prepared for it. You make a deal with the military, you need to stand by it.
