David Graham is our man! It is time for a Sheriff that will NOT hide behind issues but someone that will be responsible for them right or wrong. David Graham undoubtedly has the experience; not to mention ethics and values. He stands by what he believes in and his actions speak way louder than his words. Change is good. We know what we've gotten with Riley. I definitely don't want anymore of that. He hopes that issues will blow over. He doesn't address them. Just because Riley goes to your church, has played sports with your children, has grown up in this county does not make him a good Sheriff. Get past the personal "likes." This should be an educated business decision not a popularity contest. Riley has had enough time here in this county and I'm not impressed. Get past the small town mentality and good 'ole boy network. We've been way over due for a change. I will proudly cast my vote for David Graham.

the new sheriff needs to be able to think of intended and unintended consequences of his actions. the current sheriff had a new jail built -- against the objections of most concord residents -- and forgot to budget for staff. so, now it sits empty and we pay thousands of dollars to transport bad guys to other jails. DUH!!!
