Yes she did resign but because the new contract came with much needed limitations. So she had a hissy fit and resigned. Awww too bad, so sad. So I stand with my previous statement "she was booted out". That my dear Mr. Cox is not a lie, as you so stated. So you need to get your facts straight. I still cannot believe that you hold a law degree. The lack of professionalism must run in the family. I wonder how long it will be before you have a grievance filed against you? Or rather how many have been filed already. You counselor are the reason lawyers have such a bad reputation. Have fun chasing ambulances and defending DUI offenders. I have a sneaky suspicion that that is the only law you are capable of practicing.
What you really need is a law lesson. I would be happy to give you one if I was not already so busy running my practice. Sorry to disappoint you but never had a grievance filed. Perhaps you should find something else to do like getting a job, volunteering at a charitable organization, completing your education or some other objective with a positive direction before I lose my patience with all your defamatory statements and take you to school. As for practicing law, I am actually licensed in two states. Never see you in a courtroom in either of them. At least not yet. It's just a matter of time. Fortunately for you, KAD is above such antics as those you seem to receive such enjoyment from. You are nothing more than poison and I am done with you.

Funny you must add mind reader to your list of job titles. What makes you think I don't already do such things. Good for you that your licensed in 2 states that isn't all that much of an accomplishment. Just means you took the bar exam in each state. How many times did you have to take it in order to pass? No you won't see me in the courtroom I'm not one of your traffic violators that need representation. Furthermore, I'm just giving back your poison you've been spewing on here for the past however months. Seems to me if your so "busy with your practice" you wouldn't have the time to be on this forum.

You are simply full of it. Not sure if "it" refers to yourself, lies or something else.

That will be for a Judge or jury to decide. I must have missed you in law school. Apparently that is because you were not there. Through talking. Actions from here on out. My fi.al post on this trash of a website. However, if it was me, I would be calling someone asking them to remove the post since the longer it is up the more potential damages I will seek.
You said per se. That means it is not left to the discretion of the judge. It is also incorrect to say a jury might decide this as it is a question of law, not of fact, because you claim it to be per se "slander". You are also incorrect because slander is spoken defamation while libel is written defamation.
If your bar number is 27766 you need to update your listing with NC. You should also stop giving legal opinion on civil matters if you primarily practice in criminal law. Telling someone they have committed per se "slander" is legal advice. And that is my legal advice to you.
I came to this website to find out if I want to send my daughter to PLP. I have found that I definitely do not. I'm not so happy at Davidson Day, but I'm not going from the frying pan into the fire.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a private school in the Lake Norman area with excellent classical education without the typical liberal indoctrination? Parochial schools are welcome. And I don't mind spending whatever it takes.

Glad to hear it. That is my bar number. Sorry, but an attorney can give legal advice on any legal matter. That's why they call them lawyers.

Don't really think you would want to be representing any of the people on here under any legal theory. Read back the posts over the last several years and I am sure you can see what I am talking about. Same people. Same lies.

Not to beat a dead horse. But just FYI. Nothing would prevent a Judge, or even a Magistrate, from hearing the case and deciding both factual and legal matters. The Magistrate could hear anything up to $5K. The loser could appeal and it would still be heard by a Judge if nobody demanded a jury trial. Think I can get by without the advice.

You still don't understand. You said a judge or a jury would decide on a per se matter. If something is a per se violation, there is no factual determination and it cannot go to a jury. As a matter of law it is only determined by a judge.

You really might need the advice.

Perhaps you need to read my post more carefully. I do not for one minute intend to discuss on a blog matters that almost none of the whiners on here could ever understand. The biggest thing that surprises me is that you miss the point entirely. Telling someone you may bring a legal action against them is not giving legal advice. Keep the advice to yourself. You really should take a serious look at Pine Lake though. I have a feeling you will fit right in with some of the others here on this worthless blog.

Even better, you really should come to a Board meeting when you have absolutely nothing else to do. You will see what I am making reference to.

Don't judge PLP based on this forum; many on this forum are not at PLP, or no longer at PLP, and are not typical of PLP parents. Both H Elem and PLP Lower School are good school choices. In general, I liked the teachers at PLP, better than my experience with CMS schools, and the new Head of Schools is making positive changes.

I can't speak from experience for the middle or lower schools, but I can however speak from experience about the high school. All I can say is GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN. In terms of being a student, I never had problems academically. But, the way the the upper school is ran is completely ridiculous. Mr. Scholl, the principal of the upper school, picks favorites. What I mean by this is that he allows certain students to skip class and sit in his office to talk all day long without having to make up assignments. He lets certain students skip school for extended trips when other students might get failed for having too many absences due to a death in the family or from illnesses. He is completely rude and unfair when it comes to discipline. If you don't suck up to him then DO NOT expect any fair treatment. Students that should have been kicked out of PLP for cursing out teachers and harassing/threatening other students were never any punished, which was a huge shock to not only fellow students but also to TEACHERS. Such a joke.
