The only people there asking to help are their own citizens. They have not asked for Government help. The states are sending people and supplies on their own, you know without being asked.

Because these once every 500 year floods come about every 10 years that
justifies spending billions on bailing flood plain developers out. They have
to make lots of money, so we must keep paying.

P.S. This time have the gas and oil companies turn off the gas and empty the
oil tanks so we don't burn down the cities on the Red River after they have
been flooded like we did last time. The incompetence was similar to the New
Orleans disaster last time.

Juice, are your feelings hurt?In case you missed the sarcasm this sort of thing happens every year.Maybe if cities and houses weren't built right on top of rivers, the government wouldn't have to bail their arses out every year.As far as hurricanes go,right here in north central Minnesota, they just aren't that much of a problem @hole.

How do you claim my feelings are hurt? It was a stupid comment, sarcasm or not stupid comment. Do even know the reason why cities are built on rivers? It probably has something to do with transportation, water resources, stuff like that. Thats just a guess though, you know since when most cities were built they relied on them much more than they do now. So what is your suggestion when St. Paul floods? Should we flee St Paul? If thats the case maybe you should change you IP address to MN then instead of FL
