British American Homes along with their arrogant and ignorant Head "Hudson Gabey" should not be permitted to continue to con people, take their hard earned money and ignore then completely !. This should not be allowed to happen anywhere in the world, especially in America ! We will never invest in the USA if BAH are allowed to get away with this. The authorities should be on the case, head on.

I've been scammed also by BAH and have been promised my deposit back since May 06. I can't believe that developers can get away from this, they even closed the escrow account I wired my money into! I've already spent $1,500 in lawyer fees, and now I have to file suit and spend thousands more to get my own money back.

Hi there, we have also paid this "Company" a deposit for Elliots Landing and have been promised a refund. Our Contact was Donna Noble who is now not answering our emails or phonecalls - does anyone have any contact numbers that are current? We visited the land for Elliots Landing back in January and there was a guy there in a truck moving earth around. We spoke to him and he said that he had been told to look like something was happening there! We would be grateful for any information anyone has on law suits etc.

Does anyone have any information on what is happening at Elliots Landing? I spoke to Donna Noble a couple of weeks back and she informed me they were nearly ready to resubmit the new plans that incorporate the road changes. Customer service is diabolical and i don't know what to believe anymore. My only glimmer of light is that Donna is still taking calls and answering questions. She always seems positive and upbeat. Probably because she is being paid to be. It's a very worrying situation, something i thought wouldn't happen in Florida, as i was lead to believe they have strict Real Estate development Laws.

Cheers Nigel.

I would welcome any comments or feedback too. I originally invested in Chelsea's Landing however was advised that due to delays it would be better to switch to Elliotts.
Subsequent to paying a 20% deposit it was sugested that I took part in the "model home" programme with a further 10% deposit required and for this the home would be set up as a show home and rented off me for the first 12 months.
I have been constantly reassured by Donna that evrything is well and perhaps guilty of letting my dream rule my head took everything at face value.
I am now starting to realise that all may not be as it seems and need to take steps and recover my deposit. Any ideas or contacts please would be very much appreciated as I am in for a deposit of approx £70K! and this is money I cannot just write off!
Thanks in anticipation

I too have invested in Elliots Landing , I have spoken to Donna a number of times and have so far decided to stick with it. Today I read the latest update which if my maths is correct suggests a completion by August 2009, the kids may well be too old to enjoy Disney by then!!!

Would be interested in how fellow investors see this last update, I'm still hopeful, but unfortunately my hope is fading....

Also, has anyone actually had any money back from BAH?

Hi there,

We are fellow investors in Elliots Landing. Just wondering if the latest update came directly from BAH as we haven't received one. Is it possible to post a copy on here?
Thanks very much

My advice is to file Criminal Charges against Hudson Gabay and Donna Noble. It looks like I've lost a huge deposit on the Chelsea's Landing project and the only way to get some kind of justice is to go after these two individuals, that's what I've done. I'm hoping the more people who file, the more attention that Florida will give them.
