BVL a dangerous neighborhood?
Look at what happened to New York in the early 60's when the West Side Story gang moved in.
Same thing happened to BVL when the off spring of that group moved into BVL.
Next on the list one might ask?
All other parts of Osceola County one neighborhood at a time.
That question must be rhetorical.
Residents move from the worst parts of New York and Chicago. Puerto Ricans running rampant, dirty stores and even dirtier parking lots around the stores, dumpy little PR stores (how many dollar stores does one community need), ghetto hopper cars racing everywhere, cops being run into the ground on calls, and the most run down housing and yards that could compete with any inner city neighborhood and someone poses this question? Oh please. Look at BVL some 25-30 years ago and look at what the influx has done to it now. Dangerous and Dumpy for sure. Today it's BVL and Poinciana.
Tomorrow they are coming to a neighborhood near you and watch the property values dip even deeper.
You too can have a car as a lawn ornament right next to your $300,000 plus home. Neighborhood rules...they are for the birds. Pick up their own trash? No way. Sad but true, BVL will NEVER EVER BE THE SAME.

BVL got its crime , but the only places that i consider crime hot spots would be Royal Palms and Florida Parkway otha than that the rest on bvl its an alright place so i say the place s soso.i live there so i should know..white people like the guy that left the last comment id talkin out there ass , they got no idea what they talkin about

Used to live there and got out fast when schools were deteriorating faster than Abuelo's tight girdle. Please. Open your eyes. Trashy houses with cars for lawn ornaments. Way too many families living on one house with 8-10 cars in the driveways. Lawns not cut, trash not picked up, houses not painted or painted some obnoxious Easter egg color. Speeding teens with their noisy weed whacker mufflers. Parents who are as out of control as the numerous children they have to be babysat by the school system. 5uwoop...just take a gander in stores around BVL. You must suffer from Helen Keller blindness if you can actually live in that ghetto and not see what the differences are pre-arrival of the PR's and post their arrival. You are so ignorant...Look at NYs history thay had crime since there city first got incorporated.The irish who are white people had ghettos there and had large street gang there for over 100 years, and the italian who are also white ran NY since the early 1900s for about 50 years.Dont blame BVL crime on PR because it been provin no matter what race you are crime is to show up were ever there is a large percentage of poor people.Rember this puerto ricans first started coming to the states only 50 years ago and the crime in or ghettos were not as nearly as bad as the white ghettos as that time and didnt run the streets for not nearly as that long either.Instead of doin reseach on all the crime PRs or any other latinos check your history too.Who mudered millions of native americans ??whites.who enlslaved and murdered millions of blacks???whites.Who murder million of jews???yes it was white.Who sent US troops to iraq for no reseaon and is killin thousands of civilians???the US government who is ran by whites.If anything we commit petty crime againsts our own selves far away from whites,unlike whites who change the world on the crimes they do and are to ignorant or to full of pride to see it.If you say that not true you are either dumb ,igorant or just dont want to admit it.

Lived there years ago. Moved because everywhere you went all you heard was people talking spanish and being rude to people who didn't. The signs and the stores ( even publix) are all catering and changing over to appeal and please the spanish/ puerto ricans and the hell with the americans. This is the USA. The national language is suppose to be English but you'd never know it there.

I moved out of bvl about a year ago because i couldn't tolerate what was moving in. Nope, not all puerto ricans, a lot, but not all. They park in the lawn, and not just their own, but their neighbors too. they dont mow their lawn, they drive like bats outta hell, leave trash everywhere and let their kids roam the neighborhood all hours of the night. Crime is getting out of control, call it what you will, but the neighborhood has gone to hell.

By the way, "Just Don't Know," there is no national language for the United States of America. And I'm white and graduated from Cypress Creek High School's IB Program in the top 3% of my class. Just to let you know, Spanish flies in America just as well as English, so don't throw down a "stat" that isn't true.

The good thing about living her with puertoricans are that you feel like home. they take care of your house when you are away. they check to see who is around your home if they know that you are not there. Just so you & the others know, English IS the official language in this country. I'm Hispanic but it makes me sick when I see all the ignorant Hispanics, Blacks & other foreigners that come to this country and refuse to learn English. If you went anywhere else, you'd have NO CHOICE but to learn how to speak their language. The problem is that this country tries to please all of you ignorant idiots, so we let everyone speak whatever they want and cater to them by having everything written in 3 or more languages.

It fine if you want to speak your native tongue with your family but don't come to this country and PUSH or FORCE your language or your customs on others. This is one of the reasons why this country is slowly falling apart. Everyone wants things THEIR way and couldn't care about what's best for everyone.

Sure this place has changed. But it's up to the people that live here to maintain it. Or else there will always be bad publicity. It is very quiet and suburban where my mom lives. I don't have any problems except some of the people bring there old bronx, brookllyn etc ways. If you wanna complain then you should do something to make a change as well. Be about it. I believe that poinciana will improve if the people of the community make an effort. Just as it is expanding, the ammenties and surroundings will improve. California was once the wild wild west. Also, yes BVL has crime nowadays but don't blame it on all one race. Go to Taft, right off Orlando Intl. Airport and that place has even more drug offenses than Pine Hills. AND IT'S ALL WHITE. I lived and worked in BVL. Let me tell you how many white kids (boys and girls alike) try their hardest to act and dress like black people. They rap like blacks, dress like blacks, sleep with blacks, and try to talk like them too. Visit any trailer parks lately? White trash lives there with their cars in there lawn and dogs living under the trailer instead of the dog house where they belong. I am hispanic, I have Puertorican frieinds and yes they are a little loud and obnoxious. That is there way. However, it is not about race, it's about etiquette. One of my best friends is white, A black guy pulled over to help me when my car broke down and he did not steal my hubcaps. Overall, BVL sucks, because of the mentality of the people living there. Even the white girl wearing orange lipstick, bamboo earings, and got 5 kids from 2 puertoricans and a black!

Spaniards were white unlike the mongrel monkeys from puerto rico and other latins. They need to go back as they have ruined orlando as they have new york.

We cater to the Spanish & Creole speaking communities but English is still the official language. One of the reasons this country is in the shape it's in is because we try to please everyone and that's just not possible.
