How scary it must have been to watch your husband die in front of you.

Why did she drive if the registered owner of the vehicle was intoxicated as well? That doesn't make sense. Poor choices lead to serious consequences.

My heart goes out to the families who have lost a family member. No one should have to go through that. I hope she gets the max.

I don't think we should have any compassion for drunk drivers. It's a wreckless choice that destroys innocent lives. Throw the book at em all.

They forgot to mention the 2 lbs of pot - obviously meant for distribution.

So how did the lesser of these two weevils come up with the short straw to drive? This is just too disgusting to even comment on..
If you have a cell and see a impaired driver, stay on their tail until an officer arrives to take over. I do this and they appreciate the minute by minute information. At the very least, report them, plate info, location, direction, etc. CHP can't get them unless you report them. If you even slightly suspect their condition, report it and let the chips fall where they may.
I caught an old guy stealing from Britania Arms last week, busted him, called 911, reported him having been drinking prior and took a photo of his car and rear plate. DUI's just ain't for kids anymore...

Post #12, that was LISA Tegencamp Cotter- I remember, I knew Carrie and Mandie and I won't ever forget the name of the woman who killed them the same night as "Beachfest" when Lisa blew a stop sign going 50+ mph down Cayuga.

It's still too personal. May I suggest Bryce Kurek jokes instead?

"I asked Chris why he wasn't driving and he said he had been drinking," Osborn said. "I asked her if she was OK to drive and if she had a license, and she said yes."

I might have asked if she had been drinking, but I don't think I would have asked about a license. I think Osborn's lawyer "suggested" he say he asked about the license.

I knew them, too. I also knew the son of the woman who killed the girls.

I don't think ANY jokes are appropriate at this moment.

R u Kidding me! Linda up there? Don't buy your prescriptions at Rite-Aid? 18 months? That's all you have to think about? Yeah...about the article...this idiot is just showing "remorse" about lending his car to the driver. It's all about show. He WAS JUST AS RESPONSIBLE FOR THOSE PEOPLE DYING. If he had any concerns, do not get in the car and dial 911. He drank with her beforehand, and he has a part in this....just don't know what yet. And, the pot...that should be interesting.

You are right. It was Lisa TegenKamp Cotter. I lived nearby at the time of that horrible accident and have almost been creamed at that same intersection.

That previous poster is a poser who has posted with that name before.
He/she is trying to make a point, but using that incident to do so is insensitive to the people who had to deal with it for real.

Agreed. When's the last time you asked if a driver whom you don't know had a license? WAY too convenient.
I also love how he asked if she was ok to drive, then went drinking with her and watched as she got behind the wheel afterwards.

If it doesn't sound right then it probably isn't true. And if you lie to me once I'll have to discredit your entire testimony!

Carrie was a good friend of mine back in middle school. I was the token goth girl at that school and pretty much everyone treated me like shit. But she didn't Carrie and I had intelligent debates in the quad during lunch about religion. We also had totally silly and fun conversations, too.
She was truly one of the nicest, best people I have ever known.
So, who here knows what that bitch Lisa is serving now? I can't seem to find any updates.
Thanks
