Gee. It must be a drag being a SC city council member these days. Imagine, all the time they are spending addressing the serious issues that the tax-paying citizens deserve. They must just feel helpless not being able to waste time and money on boycotting Arizona. For the last 25+ years that sort of thing has been priority.

And you know what's cool too? Being announced by the chief himself. No Zach Friend around to "manage" it.(Nothing against Zach, but I like hearing from the chief).
I'm sure that some members of the city council think this is just terrible.
Anyone inside the PD would tell you that Skerry doesn't say anything Zach doesn't write for him. Just look at their press release, the quote was written into it. Anyone inside the PD would tell you that Skerry usually runs from the press unless Dick Wilson orders otherwise and he is self-absorbed in his own retirement earnings.

Congrats Chief Skerry for realizing you need to reach out to other agencies to solve these problems.

Remember you have enough years in that you can make the decisions that best serve the community without fear of retaliation from those above you.

Think like a young cop, just off FTO, you are on patrol by yourself for the first time...remember? Be hungry, be agressive and be feared by the bad guys...we will support you, that you can count on.

The best part of this collaboration is the DEA and ICE will play by their rules, not the rules of the city manager and city council. A world of hurt is about to be felt by some bad actors.......

Isn't it nice to know we taxpayers pay the bill for these lazy a** tweakers to go the beach daily, get drunk, and tweak meth. Basically sponge off of those of us who work. I wish my everyday could be a vacation like theirs.

Feels like the Marshall's in town and it's time to clean up this place. I was just downtown the other day and I can't remember the last time I saw so many police cars roaming the streets. Makes me feel safe. Maybe I'll be going downtown more often.
i wish they could place a SCPD Narcotics Squad station house at the Mission Gardens Apartments.

i see this everyday at the Mission Gardens Apartments. a few criminals milk the system. their fraud and abuse could stain the rest of the residents who are assets to society.

Colby can be very introspective at the times, and like a blind squirrel occasionally find an acorn.

Not before John Colby's eviction date, nor after as attention-seeking complaints and false allegations of drug manufacturing will vanish just like the Colby siblings, bringing a much-needed calm to Mission Gardens.
