I was a friend of the the female who died in this terrible accident. My thoughts, prayers, and love go out to the Peterson/Wass family during this difficult time. The husband is grieving the loss of his wife, while he is at his son's side. Kyler will not have his mother there while he grows up, and the husband will not be able to share beautiful moments and memories of his son's life with his wife. Life is too short, and we should just be grateful for what we have in our life now, and not take it for granted. We are given a gift, and we should be thankful every day for the very breath we take. This is really a terrible tragedy as the family was spending time together, and I'm sure this could have been avoided. She was at the wrong place, at the wrong time, and everything ended so suddenly.
I know she was a devoted mother and wife, who loved life to the fullest. Hopefully this will be a lesson that driving under the influence can risk everything in the blink of an eye.
