Go Aaron go!

There was a point during the first few days following the election where another 600 votes were counted and Martinez had a 34 vote lead over Hinde. Then those 600 votes were rescinded over a technicality with the understanding that they would be added back in at a later time. This seemed to indicate that Martinez was trending towards victory. What happened to cause this trend to reverse to a 180 vote loss? Hmmmmm

Gail Pellerin runs an excellent organization; there's no reason to question the preliminary results. Even with a few more thousand votes to be counted, this looks to be a close, but lost race.
Still, for an incumbent who out-raised his opponent by 2 to 1 to squeak by on fewer than 200 votes, that's a very loud wake up call. Parents, teachers, elected trustees, community members by the thousands voted for a change. Aaron needs to reach out and understand why so many people after two years of his representation voted against him.
