Judged: 1 LOL You are absolutely right! Gays are getting so arrogant. Look at the Hate Campaign they launched againt that Miss California girl who only said what MOST Americans believe. A Marriage is between a man and a woman. Who would have thought that was such a terrible thing to say? This Politically Correct stuff is getting oppressive. The more rights Gays get the more arrogant they become. Most of these Gays are hateful bigots themselves! |

Judged: 3 3 2 this gang of LGBT haters got the stupid notion in their heads that i am LGBT, while i am not and they have no proof i am. then they started a crusade to run me out of my home, by threatening, intimidating, and harassing me, and by maligning me to my neighbors, telling them i am a danger to children. they solicited and organized residents with a 5 page petition to wrongfully evict me, to take my home and my right to Section 8 housing from me. PRIDE marchers need to show the lynch mob of LGBT haters at the Mission Gardens Apartments that their hate is unacceptable, that we all stand together against hatred. |

Judged: 3 3 3 People who rally hate against LGBT do so out of insecurity with their own sexual feelings. It has none to do with the other person's sexual preference. The louder they scream the more likely they have latent tendencies. If they kill/hate all the LGBT people then they won't be tempted to explore their own desires that run that way. Look all those "Repubician" politicians sexual scandals! |

Judged: 3 3 3 i am one of their unfortunate victims. they targeted me as LGBT, even though i am not and they have no proof that i am. they solicited and organized other residents to run me out with a 5 page petition to wrongfully evict me. they tried to take my home from me and terminate my use of the Section 8 program. ironically, several of their friends are LGBT, and laugh their buttes off at them, that this lynch mob is targeting me who is not LGBT, while their friends are LGBT. they have worked themselves up in a frenzy of blind hatred, seeking any available target. they vandalized my sister's car and painted a gay hate symbol on it. they taunted me with homophobic language, threatened me and the person accompanying me, as well as intimidating me with the threat of physical violence. but worst, they told other residents i am a danger to their children. they maligned me to the entire apartment complex. all because they got a stupid notion in their heads, w/o any proof, that i am LGBT. so i invite PRIDE marchers worldwide to come to Mission Gardens to standup for my rights and the rights of all (perceived) LGBT people. we need you here. please come to Mission Gardens. |

Judged: 3 3 3 they are exactly like the bigoted gang of LGBT haters at the Mission Gardens Apartments in Santa Cruz, California. this Section 8 project is administered by the California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA) under contract to HUD. it is managed by The John Stewart Company. my questions to the media: why do CalHFA and HUD allow gangs of LGBT haters -- who attack anyone they *perceive* as LGBT -- to freely roam their Section 8 apartment complexes like predators w/o sanction? why don't they address this problem at Mission Gardens? |

Judged: 5 3 3 as i have written for the millionth time, I AM NOT GAY. unfortunately the gang of LGBT haters at the Mission Gardens Apartments could care less whether i am GAY are or STRAIGHT. they are just seeking easy targets to channel their vitriolic hatred against. thus they tagged me as LGBT, then discriminated against me: harassing me, taunting me, intimidating me and threatening me with implied violence. they solicited and organized other residents like a lynch mob with a 5 page petition to wrongfully evict me, to take my home from me, and to terminate my Section 8 benefits. worst, they told other residents i am a danger to children. they maligned me to the entirety of Mission Gardens. but, for the millionth time, I AM NOT GAY, i am straight. |

Judged: 2 2 2 HUMAN RIGHTS FOR EVERYONE. EVERYWHERE." beyond LGBT marriage. http://iglhrc.wordpress.com/ to quote: "Since the legalization of same-sex marriage in Argentina, two different debates have emerged: one is interesting and it is unclear whether the other is a debate at all. The interesting debate is the question of marriage as an institution, as a way of life; even further, it is the question of partnership itself as the only way of experiencing love or sexual relations. With respect to marriage itself, there are many things to discuss. For centuries, has it not been the most brutal, silent, and everyday form of oppression for thousands of women—one might even say, their enslavement? Paraguay’s first feminist lawyer, Serafina Dávalos – who, incidentally, never married and lived with her “inseparable companion”– already made this argument in 1907.1 I will be told, of course, that she spoke with regards to heterosexual marriage – but can we really re signify the institution? On the other hand, don’t we go on selling the myth of eternal love, and marriage as the method of consolidating it, to the entire world? In other words,“true” love is life-long and it is perceived as more stable if the state recognizes it, and for some, even more so if God blesses it. That is why it is so difficult to escape in cases of domestic violence, because the myth of eternal love and marriage is never questioned, it is never challenged. We do not think it is a myth; rather, we think it is something that we personally cannot attain because we have failed at something." |

Judged: 1 1 1 http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1241... to quote: "In 1948, the California Supreme Court stated "marriage is more than a civil contract to be regulated by state law. It is a fundamental right of all citizens." This statement has held a certain air of hypocrisy ever since. In the United States it illegal to discriminate against sex, race and age, yet there are approximately 546,000 same-sex couples who aren't legally aloud to wed. Same-sex marriage are not legal in the United States. Massachusetts and California are currently the only states that allow same-sex marriage, but these marriages are not recognized by the federal government, which means of the 1,049 benefits offered to married couples by the government, married same-sex couples can only receive a mere fraction of them. Here's a guide to getting all you can from your same-sex marriage. It should be noted that this article deals only with same-sex marriage. Civil Unions or Same-Sex Partnerships are legal in Connecticut, Vermont, New Jersey, New Hampshire Maine, Hawaii, DC, Oregon and Washington and these states offer varying benefits under the law. Make joint medical decisions. Married same-sex couples are specifically granted the same authority of heterosexual couples in regards to the authority to make decisions on behalf of an incapacitated partner, including terminal care documents and durable power of attorney. Domestic partners and their children are also granted familial visitation rights under the law. Inherit one another's property. Same-sex couples who are legally married will benefit from the assurance that property rights will fall onto their legal spouse as equally as married heterosexual couples. This law allows the couple to have control over the transfer of real and personal property, hold property as tenants by the full entirety of the law and includes the homestead rights of a surviving spouse and homestead property tax allowance. Provide for the family. For same-sex couples there is always the fear of what will happen if one of the partners were to pass on. With no access to one another's life insurance or wills, it can be difficult to care for a family. Same sex couples are granted the rights to each other's benefits relating to title, tenure, descent and distribution and intestate succession, waiver of will, survivorship and all other incidents of acquisition. Benefit from causes of action related to or dependent upon spousal status, including an action for wrongful death, emotional distress, loss of consortium and other actions, which are explicitly dependent upon spousal status. Exercise your adoption rights. Married same-sex couples can file and jointly petition to adopt. Same-sex co-parents are also allowed to petition to adopt their partner's child or child of the relationship. These state regulations do not address whether sexual orientation is a considered factor in adoption decisions, therefore allowing registered domestic partners to use the state's stepparent adoption laws to adopt each other's children. Access full marriage benefits under state tax laws, including key tax breaks not administered to unmarried same-sex couples (ie. same-sex partnerships and civil unions). These include, but are not limited to public assistance, group insurance for state employees, access to state employee benefits, worker's compensation and medical leave. Couples do not have access to one another's federal benefits." |
