Dangerous Product Defect, 2009 Honda

I own a 2009 Honda Accord, that was a near death trap!
I spend a lot of money to maintain my car, but something seems to have gone wrong this weekend. Honda is an excellent vehicle. In this situation, I had a loose battery post-battery cable connection.
The car shutdown at an intersection.
I was trapped in my car with no means to escape my vehicle.
I was literally trapped with the only alternative to have kicked out a window. I am disabled, so this was not an ideal choice for me.
I could not roll down my windows, or open my door as all electronics were blocked. The temperature was rising in my car.
Cars were coming up behind me blowing their horn. They could not see into my car due to window tinting. It was a very frightening experience.
Fortunately, I had a cell phone with a weak signal and was able to reach a roadside assistance carrier that was able to call the police which was then was able to remove me from the hot vehicle. If my car had been on fire, I would have likely burned to death inside of that vehicle.
I thank the professionalism of the officers who came to my aid with a charger.
I recommend a manual escape switch to override electronic systems when there is a catastrophic collapse to the electrical system.
Do you know of others who have experienced a similar experience? Your thoughts? This seems to be a design defect.
