You're saying weed "cures" chemical imbalances? LOL!!! That's literally laughable. It may help but it def doesn't cure anything.
You're quite a close-minded person to make such a claim when current (honest, unbiased) scientists have not thoroughly tested it in laboratories on ALL people with ALL different types of illnesses today. It's mostly illegal, so most of this is not done worldwide. The limited access in some U.S. States now for 'medical marijuana' is actually showing some promise. I read of one story how a lady moved to California, started juicing (and then drinking) marijuana and is now feeling much better. I believe it will probably cure her illness. But no one KNOWS until they TRY it for themselves!

Most people don't or can't TRY it because they're afraid of he criminal-government throwing them in JAIL because of it - OR because its not in their mind to look toward marijuana for a "cure" because they're raised in an environment where its deeply seated in their mind that "marijuana = against the law! Marijuana = bad!" so they instead go for the pharmaceutical drugs... which are way more of a risk to their lives than marijuana will EVER be... ironically.

I don't even care to smoke marijuana but, I argue in favor of individual RIGHTS to do what they so choose to their body, so long as it doesn't harm anyone else or their property against their will in the process. That's 'righteous liberty'... unlike the criminals within the government today trying to control the people with their stupid, tyrannical 'nanny state' laws, supposedly set up to "protect us" ? lol! What a bunch of obvious (to those with intelligence) hogwash!

Governments' intent is to gain power; they don't care about our liberties or safety in a genuine way.

Marijuana should be LEGAL because it's every individuals' right to do what they want to their own body, whether smoking or juicing marijuana, drinking alcohol.

Anyway, it's amazing how people can see history CLEAR AS DAY, learning that prohibition [of alcohol] did not work! So how the heck do they not see it'll not work concerning marijuana? So ignorant! So clueless!

The simpleton populace lets this continue because [to them] their liberties or rights are not being infringed upon, so it's all about "who cares" what happens to someone elses liberties concerning the inhalation of smoke coming from a organic, green, harmless plant?

"It's not happening to me, so... oh well!"

And if they're the ones that love cigarettes or alcohol and the government bans those, the marijuana smokers who don't do those things says "Ah, I don't care for those things so I'm not going to protest for YOUR rights as individuals! Oh well!"

Ah, a taste of their own poison is what these clueless sheeple would need to wake up and finally care for ALL individual rights! Only when its too late will they learn this lesson, however.

Ok honestly I am not going to read this long answer. Because basically I'm not against weed being legal. So don't call me close minded. I said it doesn't cure anything. If it cured something there would more doctors backing the legalization of weed. Or at least putting into pill form.

I saw you were not against the legalization of marijuana in your posts, so the rest is not toward you but on the subject as a whole.

The first two paragraphs were my answer to you concerning the possibility of marijuana "curing" illness(es).

We don't know what it can or cannot "cure" until we try (imo JUICING) it and seeing the effects over a certain period of time.

I personally believe, if anything, it'll still be healthy to eat or juice it because I believe it has good antioxidants like most green, organic plants out there do.

As for curing serious cancers or diseases, I don't know. Without even going into speculation over marijuana concerning this subject, I believe it's best to build up our system with good (organic, all-natural) foods, filtered water (filters that take out the FLUORIDE!), wholefood supplements / vitamins, exercise, sun-exposure (enough to wear the individuals' skin can take it), etc.

We need to get away from the pharmaceutical industry. They're making all of these synthetic chemical abominations that are literally killing over 100,000 people a year... even when they're "correctly" prescribed and used as told by a doctor! One hundred thousand a year!

Yet... they make marijuana illegal? LOL!

Oh my... oh my... oh MY this is like the Twilight Zone! How backward is this society on this issue?! WOW!

The drug industry has a CLEAR motive to demonize natural plants like marijuana from being legalized. It's in DIRECT competition with their synthetic poison drugs!

How people do not see this clearly... it's beyond my comprehension at times.

I don't smoke ANYthing, not even cigarettes. I don't drink *any* alcohol, either, yet it's perfectly legal for me to do so. I don't personally care for "getting high" on smoking marijuana. I smoked it a few times when I was in my mid-teens (only because of friends using it, and I thought it's just a plant, so why not try it). It didn't do anything for me. I like staying 'clear-headed' and sober. I'm in control of my body and my mind. That's my preference.

So it all comes down to this for me: I simply argue in favor of individual rights and freedoms... period.

Yes, I'm a "libertarian" of a sort, if that's what people want to label me. So be it.:-)

My interest in this subject is all about getting nanny-state government the heck out of our business unless we cross the line and infringe upon someone elses business / rights / liberties / lives / property.

I also [know] people have a right to not wear seat-belts in cars if they so choose not to. I also [know] people have a right to not wear a helmet on a motorcycle if they so choose to do so.

Your post wreaks of a simpleminded sheep mentality.

Even if true, about it not "curing" anything? Let's imagine, for argument' sake that this is correct:

Then I say, "SO WHAT?! What if alcohol doesn't cure anything? Does it mean that should be illegal?

What if video games don't cure anything? Should they be illegal?

What if sports don't cure anything? Should they be illegal?

What if cigarettes, pharmaceutical drugs, etc. don't cure anything? Should they be illegal?"

Simpleton tyrants need to learn about RIGHTS and LIBERTY before they embarrass themselves like this in front of everyone.

I don't care to smoke it. I simply argue in favor of liberty. Something you're quite ignorant of, apparently. Some of the people who wrote the Bill of Rights (to the U.S. Constitution) also said that we should be keep our minds limited to what is technically written on paper concerning rights and liberties, but also move forward on looking at everything else in the same spirit of freedom as such.

Do you understand that?

Or are your braincells not numerous enough to?

Many doctors don't actually care about genuine health of people. Doctors make MONEY from giving those synthetic pharmaceutical drugs to their patients. The pharmaceutical industry backs these 'doctors'(drug pushers).

Many doctors don't even bother looking into marijuana anyway! It's illegal, thus it's out of their mind, since they've also been led to subconsciously believe "Marijuana is illegal so marijuana = bad!"

As for the [honest, genuine, good] exceptions, there are quite a few of them that actually would like it legalized.

I am thoroughly amazed at how many of you sheeple are so trusting of these "authorities" as if they all genuinely "Care" for your health and liberty? My goodness, you're clueless if you truly believe this.

They're in the business of sickness! They want money! The longer this society doesn't "find a cure" the richer these bastards in the drug and "health" industry get!

Don't you realize that?! Do I really have to tell you this?

Are you currently on medication?

Are video games cures?
Are cigarettes cures?

I say you are "out there " got using those analogies. They make no sense.

I used them as examples of reasons behind why it [marijuana] shouldn't be illegal simply because it doesn't cure anything (allegedly)... just like those examples I posted above don't "cure" anything yet they're all totally legal to do...

This dimwit thinks marijuana should be illegal because he claims it "kills braincells" apparently. Well, anyone can make an argument about so many things why they should be illegal, like McDonalds, cars, government (that has murdered hundred of millions of people, just within the last 100 years), etc.; yet they don't do that, do they?

Such simpletons.

The cure don't cure argument came into play when a person earlier in this topic stated that weed cures lots of things. When in reality it doesn't. This topic isn't about if weed cures things it about whether or not it should be legal. Saying it cures things, when it clearly doesn't, is a stupid argument for legalization.

Well you shouldn't say "it clearly doesn't" when you and most doctors (honest ones) are so limited in your access to it since it's illegal almost everywhere now; how can we ever see honest, genuine tests done on all different illnesses when marijuana is so demonized, as if it's a nuclear bomb? The media is apart of the propaganda machine, overall.

So you totally saying "it clearly doesn't" cure anything is much worse than some claiming it does. You don't know their personal experiences with it, so your arrogance just made you ignorant. Let them claim whatever they want and then you can say "Well, I don't personally know since I've not done tests myself." at the least...

Anyway, the argument is plain and simple: people have a right to do to their body what they wish, so long as it doesn't harm anyone elses body, property or rights against their will... period.

End of story. There is no other justification for the legalization of marijuana. Anymore information is only "asked for" by the very criminals who seek to keep it illegal for their own agenda.

Marijuana is illegal in many first world nations. And you assuming you'd hear so much about it, even with the media totally demonizing it night and day as if it were a bomb? Wow.

This is what I mean, you people think you can just ASSume you'd hear so much about it if it's good for curing or helping diseases? Not in todays media! If not the media, then where? Internet? Yeah, many people are talking about it on the Internet but YOU'RE not seeing or hearing it because YOU'RE not looking for that information! Do that yourself... right now... or else I'm not going to waste my time responding to someone so lazy they cannot even do basic homework on a subject they're posting about on a forum.

Your type are exactly the reason why so many criminals in power get away with so much! You assume SO many things without verifying them for YOURSELF! Stop TRUSTING authority. Start QUESTIONING authority and be OPEN-MINDED. Do YOUR OWN research.
