I buy and remodel existing antique homes. I don't call it a flip because I put my heart and soul into my work. I keep seeing an old abandoned Victorian home on North Fulton Avenue that is falling down. Any ideas on who might own it? I would be interested in buying it and restoring it to it's former glory.

I don't sell homes. I remodel them and use a real estate agent if the need be to sell the property. In most cases my work speaks for itself and the home if sold before it is finished. I am not from here, I was told about the home by a child that attends college in Evansville. I came to town and looked at it but I am unable to find an address where I would be able to look it up on the local assessors website.

Do you know who might own it?

I am pretty sure I know which house you ae talking about. Did you look at the neighborhood it was in? That house has been falling apart for years. It would take a ton of money to make that place habitable. Anyone who could afford it after it was fixed up would not want to live in that part of town.

The address is 610 N FULTON AV. Go to the Vanderburgh County Assessors website and enter the address just like I listed it and you can pull up the owner. Good luck it could be a beautiful home. I agree with Webrider, the neighborhood is in poor condition and it would probably devalue the home. However speak with those that are part of the historic society and they could probably put you in touch with local and federal grants that would cover some of your costs in the remodeling of the home.

I lived in the carriage house behind the main house. She was offered one hundred thousand dollars and turned it down.I also love the old house. But she is asking way to much money for it.
