Darien school officials have filed a negligence lawsuit against an accounting firm for failing to uncover nearly $160,000 allegedly taken by a district employee over a roughly three-year period. via Chicago Tribune
Failing to uncover theft by an accounting firm is not news. Anderson accounting come to mind ?
Ever hear of the GAO ? Turning a blind eye is fine honed skill in public accountancy.
